thinking about the od version when they come in… if 30 works well for me in the 9634z, would 31 be the consensus starting point for the busters?  to be honest i do have a bit of room in the 9634z and so my feeling is to go for 30 in the busters and let em stretch....

How does the shade of blue of the BB compare to the 666S?  I bought the 666 hoping it'd be a deep blue similar to my 634SR.  The 666 color is closer to my Strike Gold SG1101.  I haven't experienced the signature denim, so I can't do a comparison.

The 21oz is definitely a deep blue..I have the sg1105..my busters make those jeans look gray in comparison.

Thanks for the info..  The 666 is a little bluer than the SG, but definitely grayish compared to my 634SR.  Excellent pair of jeans regardless.  Addiction is a wonderful thing

It's just not tapered enough, I need a maximum of 7.75 I think.

Pretty bummed because SE recommended a hem when I tried them on, so I got the hem of course, and now I can't exchange for something else.

Seeing as how they are brand new, I'm sure someone will picked this up for a discounted price.

I'm thinking of trying a 34 in FH BSP.

Unless you guys thing I should go for the 666 and hope that the leg opening is smaller

i think its just "not used to" factor..just my opinion

Heavy denim also contributes to a hem appearing wide.  So does looking at the hem from above. So do unsettled stacks.  Have a look from the side and wait if the stacks settle after a few weeks.

Personally, I find the 634 hem too wide for anything but boots and very chunky sneakers. I believe it's 8.5 in on my pair.

This could be   But I'm super OCD about leg opening, it's insane.  The current leg opening on these takes over the top part of my Clarks and my Vans authentics to the point where I can't see the laces

These are ~8.4 leg opening, which would be fine for boots and chunky sneakers.  But I tend to wear "smaller" sneakers (chucks, vans).

they are tapered 1.5 from knee down, pretty standard , might be the hem job that gives you more room, but anyways - 8.4 on a 34 waist is pretty narrow…

my identity crisis continues.  toying around with a double cuff and rolled the other leg under to see what a hem would look like…

also, for the hem guy….  mine shrunk down to 7.75 after a cold wash so yours may, too...

i would say hem but just cause thats my style hehe.  truly a case of personal preference.
