He's exaggerating.  We have 6 x half flights (4-storey house) with a little turn on one stairway.  G likes to exaggerate

thanks guys . . . it's not an entirely new concept - there are ideas similar to this

but as i said nem keeping the t simple . . . single colour print on black; figured you might prefer black over pink or baby-blue or somesuch 

that should have biggest impact at distance and most legibility close up
