      Hello!
Bought a shirt IHSH-220-IND - 5.5oz Selvedge Madras Check Western Shirt - Indigo Excellent shirt! Perfect fit in style. I am tall and rather thin. Height 191 cm, weight 88 kg.
I bought XXXL size and got it right with measurements. The size is sewn for me! Sits like bespoke.

There is one question about the treatment of seams. Does everyone have their inner seam treated this way? Usually the cuffs are attached with a hidden seam, with a fold. There is an open seam here.
      So everyone has stitched seams?
I have seen a seam treatment using selvedge, but in my case it does not look like selvedge.
Owners of such shirts and store employees, tell me please, is this how it should be?
      Thanks for the comments!

That is selvedge. You can see the selvedge ID here:

It is the white border with the red line running through it.

As for the seams they look good to me. Same as my other lightweight IH shirts.

        Great fit on you.

Thanks for your feedback! You calmed me down 🙂
If this seam is treated like this for everyone and this is such a selvedge, then everything is correct.

I think that because the shirt contains red and white stripes the selvedge ID is not immediately obvious. If you look at the picture below of the IHSH-118 (similar fabric and weight), you can see both the typical cuff construction and selvedge ID more clearly:

My bad fit pics ain't gonna sell anything, but suffice to say the fabric is so nice in person. As with a few others here, I bought a lot of thrift store westerns in my twenties, usually baggy and in polyester. This is the deluxe version, and I look forward to putting some miles on it as we head into a very warm summer in my neck of the woods. I like it so much I ordered the indigo-yellow version as well. 😶

I think I can do worse for image quality, apologies all for that. First fit pic ever for me. very happy with the shirt

Thanks @RoxRocks86 I'll try and do better for picture quality with my next post. Lighting makes it difficult to get a decent pic of this one and will be even worse for IHSH-33B

This shirt is so versatile.  It goes good with blues, khakis, olives, greys, and blacks.  I find myself reaching for it a lot these days and mine is starting to show some fading.  Hoping that there will be more variety in the Madras weight fabrics…I'm digging the S/S 21 versions.
