Eyeglasses / Sunglasses Discussion

are you crazy!
don't call her!
you gotta play the game, toy with the lass a bit,
it's what she wants,
it's the timeless art of seduction!Geo, don't play hard to get… I think most women over 30 have had more than enough of the "treat 'em mean, keep 'em keen" attitude. If there's a chance you're gonna have some good times together, why wait?
***Mrs G gazes wistfully at the ceiling remembering the number of toads she had to kiss before she met her Prince…

Mrs G, as I said to jacoavlu, I can't not phone . . . she's got my bloody glasses hostage ::)
anyway I never subscribed to the 'treat 'em mean' method that wouldn't be fair on top of all the cooking and cleaning and ironing they've got to do . . .
nope, it's all good, and no hanging about either - looking forward to whatever happens . . . I mean it'll just a nice dinner, some sparkling conversation and me frantically trying remember what comes next

Geo
Listen to Paula, the voice of reason, not us jealous 40 year olds (well me anyway)
Good luck Dude. -
Geo, I have asked the trainee to pop an extra sheet of decals in with todays parcel to you. If you can't think of anything else to whip out in embarrassing lulls in conversation, these should do the trick…..
G - anything else that could be whipped out would probably lead to an embarrassing lull . . .
-
There you go, being clever again.
Jaco - I got the ref but remember your audience here. Something tells me people outside of the US use that show to illustrate how stupid Americans are.
Anyhow, ordered three pairs from SALT Optics, keeping these:
Will try to get some non-cell phone pics up at some point. Impressed by the quality so far.

I'm so disappointed.
I didn't think if have to explain my comments.
The timeless art of seduction…
No one gets a Seinfeld reference?Sorry Jacoavlu - went right over my head (not unusual

Those Ditas look good and they will in another 10yrs. I ordered the following from SALT:
Vance (too small but very nice, maybe a bit too on-trend also):
http://www.saltoptics.com/shop/detail.php?id=63&pageindex=22&categoryid=2&orderby=1&prod_type=2
Wyatt (the ones I kept):
http://www.saltoptics.com/shop/detail.php?id=66&pageindex=26&categoryid=2&orderby=1&prod_type=2
McGinley (too sporty):
http://www.saltoptics.com/shop/detail.php?id=51&pageindex=12&categoryid=2&orderby=1&prod_type=2
The Wyatts are sporty-ish but when you see them square on they're more angular (vs. the McGinleys).

Seinfeld was one of the more popular American sitcoms ever, ran in the 90's. The show centered around Jerry Seinfeld, a comedian, and his 3 friends. I will be brief re: my reference, and I'm just going from memory here…
George dropped off some film at a photolab where a nice looking lass worked, and through conversation he gets the idea she's looked at his pics, and perhaps she's interested, though she's a bit out of his league ... then he finds a seductive picture of a lady mixed in with his developed pics, and assumes it's from the lass at the photolab ... he wants to ask her out but Kramer (wacky neighbor) encourages him he must play the game a little, making reference to "the timeless art of seduction", and offering to help George out in a photo shoot... leading to...
of course it was all a misunderstanding, and comedy ensues…So Geo, when you talked of the pretty lady at the opto office and her little hidden message to you, well, you gotta play the game a little...
