It only looks like tiger skin (striped), never seen a chicken leg? I´ve seen weird stuff in chinese supermarkets when i visited Beijing and Shanghai last year.

not 100% positive - I, for one, would "hope" that Tiger Skin Chickens are actually a specific type of chicken.
the ones with the stormed look/feathers - the ones with extra delicious feet.
maybe it reads on the back: "no actual tigers where hurt or killed in the process…"?

I wouldn't be surprised (not anymore) to learn that you could actually get things like "tiger skin", but probably not in the supermarket. maybe in a drugstore…

虎皮凤爪 is just a certain way of cooking chicken feet from Guangdong province in southchina, it has nothing to do with tiger.
the translation on the pack is only half right, 虎皮 means tiger skin, and 凤爪 means phoenix feet.
in china people idolize tiger dragon phoenix and name many things after them, such as food. ::)
