If it were I, I would definitely go with the type III. Better look, (more flattering) but also a little more ruff and tuff, subversive. Best of all you stick to the well conceived monochrome theme.

@LewisStonehouse  if it’s not too late, another vote for pic 2 (but with eyebrows from pic 1  ;)). There’s no way I could get away with this but I think you can and the Type 3 definitely looks more tailored.  Although many of the style cues are very different, the high/suppressed waist made me think of a mess jacket.

I'd would like to be able to wear the vest and the jacket together. But I'm thinking it's too much indigo. Maybe only occasionally but with a black hat and black shoes and tee?
