IHD-01 - Special G Denim Version

OK.  It was a massive disappointment that the factory can't make this out of the 18oz raw denim.

But I took to wearing my sample again this weekend (It has been up at Aero for a few months).

Wearing is again made me understand just how versatile this shirt/jacket is.

So I came up with Plan B…..

Make it out of the raw 12oz denim that we use for IHSH-27:

Still use the nice oversized snaps (or perhaps the mother of pearl ones we used on IHSH-37).

What do you reckon?

So at that point it's basically a IHSH-27 with slash pockets right? Or would the chest pockets or snaps (buttons?) be different?

Just expanding the discussion here, what about the TW denim from the type II? Not 18 oz, but not 12 oz either…

Basically the same, but longer and with slash pockets.  Now that is a really good idea to use the 13,5 oz…..............

Now I love me some TW denim, but possessing the IHSH-27, the IHW-01, and the TWHRII, along with a heavy flannel and the sweat parka, I wouldn't be all that excited about an IHD-01.

That said, line the overshirt with some flannel or cotton drill, then I would have to think about it. But that's just me.

YESSSS pls do the IHSH-27 denim with pockets
and i'm for larger snaps like -27 rather than mother of pearl (though ive never seen them)
personally, i wouldn't want mine fleece/flannel lined…but thats me

considering how much i love/wear my IHW-01, i'm peeing my pants waiting for this IHD-01

Honestly though, an IHD-01 in the 12-13 oz denim just seems too similar, for me, to what I already have from IH/TW. But a lining would really separate it from anything IH has right now.

Now, this is me being difficult:

Line it with flannel, and then… wait for it... make it reversible.

I'd like to see it in either overdyed black TW or the 27's denim. No lining for me  keep the cut, simple and tough as fck.
