I see quite a bit of selvedge denim jeans in my neck of the woods but not a ton of IH.. when I do see it I try to make some kind of connection with whoever is wearing it…

Can you guys tell if it is selvedge denim without seeing the upturned cuff and giveaway id?

I used to get it more often being around the greater Bay Area of CA than I do now in NZ. However there is another dad from my kids school that is a fan of IH. Saw him wearing a UHF I have back in the states and was like, "no way, I have that same shirt!" Turns out he's cool as and we have heaps in common. The last time he came over to my house he was wearing a properly broken in 33 that is fantastic. I tried to steal it but he was too sharp for that to happen
I know I know, pics or it didn't happen, but it felt too weird to ask him for pics of his clothes. Maybe next time.

@Brock , I’ve no idea to be honest. The wife is in charge of acquisitions, I just do the cleaning and maintenance.

@Paul9221 , thank you man. We built the patio are and raised beds last year, finished them just in time for winter to arrive so we’re hoping to get a bit more time to enjoy the space more this year.

Fell about 10-12 Alder trees today for some old friends who couldn’t do it. It was a beautiful day, I’m beat! But I feel good for getting to help out and I’m gonna be stocked up on firewood for the next couple years.. [emoji847]

It’s not the best that’s for sure but, it was free and I had some fun. I like the feeling of felling a tree once in a while.
