There has been a new Jordan 1 release literally just a couple of hours ago and ebay is already full of reselling twats. I wasn't interested in that particular colourway but it's going to be more than frustrating to snag a pair when Nike decides to drop a bred, royal or shattered backboard colour combo in the future.
EDIT: Apparently a shattered backboard is coming this October, followed by the OG bred/banned in late November.

I feel you man, I struck out on the SB Jordan LA to Chicago and absolutely refuse to pay resale price. These days I mainly just stick to the odd GR that I like, last year the Sports Illustrated and the ROTY were my favourite releases that I managed to snag, nothing has come up for me so far this year.

Congrats! Those are really nice and wearable with pretty much everything. I kinda forgot they were dropping today but I also picked up a pair of last year's Hyper Royals recently. Still can't believe they were on sale in the official Nike webshop and I snagged them for half of their original price. Dunno why they're not popular but the leather quality is great and I love the monochromatic look. I'm glad I didn't sleep on those as it's a really dope sneaker overall (like pretty much every 1 Retro High OG).

The Hyper Royals had some of the best leather of any J1 release last year, I missed out on them unfortunately. These will likely be my last pick up of the year from Nike, having picked up two pairs of React Presto’s last week in New York, the comfiest shoes available right now imo.

I haven't owned a pair of white shoes since I became disenchanted with life (circa 1985). Everything always had to be black or more recently denim. Trying to turn that around now. I am not sure why, but I really like these even though they are white. I guess it is because they are so retro, they look like they are part of a spacesuit. But I am sure they will look great with jeans. I was also surprised that they are wide enough for my foot.

Picked up my first pair of Jordans in 1991 when I was 14. I’ve always had a few pairs since then, but over the last couple of years I went a bit too far.

Yeh, I had a fantastic lucky streak with releases through the second half of 2019 and most of 2020…..which is now over
I wear most of them, apart from the Off White V’s and a few others with value which my wife is keeping an eye on the value of so she can buy a new kitchen

As a former skater and having the honour of meeting LM when I was a teenager they are one of my favourite pairs.
The Off White’s are my biggest ever score on a Snkrs draw, I’ve got a few other pairs that are worth money but I paid a decent amount for them, the OW were a retail pick up.

I felt compelled yesterday to dip my toes in the water finally, and I just bought my very first pair from Landon. I was gonna wait and post fit pics, but since this thread just got refreshed, here they are:
Looking forward to getting indigo stains all over them. Figure they’ll age like a pair of boots too. Gonna wear the shit out of em. Needed something external to take a little pressure off my overwhelming anxiety at the moment. I hope it helps, I’m feeling kinda hyped to be honest. I’ve been wearing work boots everyday for so long, these will be a nice change of pace
