After reading the review from Jake (https://almostvintagestyle.com/2018/05/02/moto-leather-lace-up-boots-review/) and some advice from him I decided to order a pair of boots from a company I haven't heard before:
Moto / Motor from Japan.

The boots are really heavy, really nice and just started the break in process. These are my best made boots so far.

It's my first pair of Wescos and definitely worth the price.  I do love my Red Wings, but there's something definitely special when you see it in person and have it on your feet.

I try not to say mean things about RW as it is decently made footwear, but just like I dropped LVC and Nudie when I found Iron Heart, Wesco have made RW an irrelevance for me. These are glorious. Congratulations.

For being only 3 years in, these still look almost new.
Get out there and change a transmission once in awhile–-they'll get some patina

I care for them very often and never let them get dirty! I also rotate between the 875 and the Postman IR. I lost my ACL 2 years ago in a nasty Downhill MTB accident and since then the IR's get very little usage as I find them too unforgiving when walking and uncomfortable for me injured leg. My 875 need a resole and these days I wear the IR's a lot! Yes, you are correct and they indeed look pretty new'ish despite being 3 years old.
