I must admit, I kinda like the Curry Up tee. But, i'm a huge fan of Japanese curry as it was a staple for me growing up. Whenever I'd visit my mom she'd always have curry ready for me
@kiya have you ever eaten at the Curry Up restaurant? I'm sure curry restaurants are a dime a dozen in Japan but i'm curious how theirs compares to other places. If I ever make my way back to Japan i'll have to make a point to stop by.
Yeah, I've been to Curry Up a few times, at both the original location in Tokyo and the newer bigger one under the Human Made offices. They're both great, but they're not the gut busting Japanese version of curry, they're sort of new school more toned down in portion size and heaviness. If you're into eating or drinking inside a brand you like, this is heaven in terms of branding, uniforms, and service as Nigo is a genius when it comes to this type of thing.
Tastes like an indian curry to me, and even the names of the dishes were based on indian names. I'd say they were toned down Indian style. Nice food, but underwhelming. Vibe won the day. I found everyone else in there was just there for the food, nothing to do with nigo, maybe just the day/time I went. It's nice food.

Iron Heart Natural Indigo Jeans, Black/Black Type II Jackets, & More
This week have the 777N slim tapered jean from Iron Heart in a natural indigo denim and a Type II denim jacket made with a black warp and black weft. The denim on this jacket is one of the best black/black denim styles we've seen from any brand, it has a perfect hand feel and great character for a black/black denim.
We've also received a new run of Iron Heart's leather belts in two buckle styles, the 633s straight tapered 21oz jean, and the 777s-142 slim tapered 14oz denim jean.

Poten Summer 2020 Collection of Caps
These hats are wild nice, nicer than any other straight ahead baseball cap we've ever seen. They come in cool fabrics like a water-repellant chambray, a charcoal seersucker, and an army green Ventile.
Every cap style has a super soft and supple inner leather headband which has been lightly treated so it’s not destroyed by sweat.
The caps have zero exterior branding except for the stitches which you can see from the top of the crown from the interior branding tags being sewn into the center of the crown. The cap has a medium height crown and the brim has a medium length to it with 19 concentric stitches which feel and look pretty cool in person. If you're into baseball caps, you'll love what Poten is doing.
All three of these caps in three completely different fabrics are available now at all stores and online and they're now made down to size XX-Small and up to size Large.

3sixteen's Pima tees, now available in black! After years of making some of the best tees money can buy 3sixteen has released a new version of their blank t-shirt 2-packs. These are made of an American grown Pima long staple cotton and come in a fuller fit compared to their heavyweight t-shirts. These t-shirts have a softer hand compared to the heavyweight version, are cut a little longer and fuller in the body, and have been lightly rinsed.

3sixteen Type 1s Denim Jacket
Today we launch a denim jacket style from 3sixteen made of a new 12oz double indigo denim. The new Type 1s jacket is made of a Japanese (Nihon Menpu woven) indigo warp and indigo weft 5x5 denim which has been rinsed for comfort and to get rid of most of the shrinkage in the fabric.
Along with this new jacket we've received a full restock of their selvedge chinos and blank t-shirts in all styles and colors.

Iron Heart Wabash and flannel shirts are here! The wabash shirts are made of an Iron Heart designed 12oz indigo-dyed wabash fabric with bleached white dots creating the wabash pattern. This is the exact type of thing Iron Heart excels at, taking a classic style fabric and doing it up in an overbuilt version that ages very well with wear.
We also have a new color in Iron Heart's Ultra-Heavy flannel series. These are brushed on the inside and are super comfortable.

Studio D'Artisan Self Edge Exclusive Black Jeans & Shouken Silk Shirts
This week we have a new Self Edge exclusive Studio D'Artisan jean made of a black warp and black weft slub denim. This 14oz denim is woven on Japan's famed G3 Toyoda loom and is made of a black sulfur-dyed slub cotton for maximum fading capabilities with a white (blank) selvedge ID. The goat leather patch has been dyed black and all the hardware is also fully blacked out. These come in a straight tapered fit with a medium rise.
Along with this new black jean we have a special summer shirt made of a silk kimono-style fabric. A limited run of this silk fabric was made in 10 different colors and designs; depending on the size of the shirt you purchase you will receive a different color/design of the fabric. This is one of the most unique summer shirts we've seen and the feel of the fabric is top notch.

Roy Jeans - Two New Models!
We have a new run of Roy’s jeans being released today via our online store. These are bit more special than his previous releases and are available in two different deadstock 12oz Cone denim styles. Both models come in a classic straight leg fit with a little taper and classic medium rise.
These are unsanforized and have not been rinsed, so the measurements you see online shrink down considerably after a hot soak. Please check the two product pages for a full run-down on the denim and details.
These jeans will go on sale online at 9am (PDT) on Monday, July 27th.

Iron Heart 17oz Cotton Duck "Jeans", Black/Black Jackets, Blank T-Shirts, & Brass Key Hooks
We've just received some heavy deliveries from Iron Heart. First off we have a 5-pocket "jean" made of an Iron Heart developed 17oz cotton duck fabric. These are available in the 777 slim fit and the fabric has a great feel to it especially once it's been broken in.
We've also received Type III and Type II jackets available in Iron Heart's newly developed 14oz black warp and black weft denim, blank t-shirts in various colors and weights, and brass key hooks available in two styles.

3sixteen 40BSP Jean & Pima Cotton T-Shirts
3sixteen's 40BSP jean is back!
The 40BSP is made of 3sixteen's 16.5oz unsanforized (but rinsed) Japanese "Caustic Wave" denim which is made into a straight tapered jean fit. This fit has a true medium rise, a top block that is comfortable, and a leg which has a strong taper for a small leg opening at the hem.
The "Caustic Wave" denim was developed with the intention of creating a fabric which would yield electric blue high friction points and a high contrast fade with regular wear. A strong variation within the weave of the fabric combined with strongly twisted yarns of uneven shapes and lengths creates an abrasive denim with a crisp and dry hand feel.
Along with the 40BSP we also now have 3sixteen's new Pima cotton blank t-shirts in both plain and pocket version in white and black.

The Sugar Cane Limited Edo-Ai Anniversary Collection
We've been waiting for this release all year… Sugar Cane has put together a limited edition capsule collection for their 55th anniversary using their years of knowledge of indigo dying to create some very unique garments.
As part of this collection we have a pair of jeans and a Type I denim jacket, both made of a new 14oz Japanese selvedge denim made of 30% sugar cane fiber and 70% cotton. The warp yarns are dyed using a natural plant based green cast indigo mixed with a traditional indigo giving the denim a unique deep shade of indigo. The hand feel of this fabric is quite special as the combination of the sugar cane fiber and the warp's natural dye gives the denim a feel and look we've not seen before. Other details include hand dyed natural indigo pocket bags, hand "painted" natural indigo dyed deerskin patches, and copper branded rivets (which will rust as they age over time).
Along with these two items we also have a Sugar Cane developed seersucker fabric that's yarn-dyed with pure indigo mixed with an indigo-black pigment dye to create a subdued seersucker pattern which is made into a short sleeve summer shirt.
All three of these items are available now at all stores and online.
