Sorry Eli, we have already packed it.  But, a fox had crapped in the garden overnight, so we dragged the jacket through that, so I think we're all good…..

When we hem any denim over 14oz, it is necessary (adviseable) to hammer the hem into submission before we get to the sewing machine.  I have a slab of cast iron covered with denim, which is effectively the anvil.

On the left is the denim I covered the cast iron with 5 years ago.  On the right is the new…..

It may be nice to use a different denim this second time around, and frame it after 20000 pairs are hemmed. Should make a nice comparison on IH denim toughness levels!
