That is a very good looking jacket. I’d like a closer look at that, do you have any more details so that I can google it?

Thanks, @JDelage! Roy never disappoints. I'm also the third owner of the shirt so I can't take any of the credit for the fading. But I do love it.

Lovely overshirt @BloodnThunder , especially that color. Probably the first time I’ve seen one…how thick/heavy is it? Who sells them?
I notice you’ve tucked it; does that require sizing up on your jeans? -
@motojobobo it's actually a vintage shirt from the Vietnam era made by Greenbrier Industries. There are quite a few out there on the various vintage webshops. I found this one on Etsy maybe two years or so ago (paid maybe $70? for it). It's marked as a size small (35-37" chest) but runs quite large. The sleeves are also very full…. Being made for combat rather than fashion there wasn't a whole lot of thought put into it outside of trying to fit as many body types as possible while still being functional.
If I had to guess I would say the fabric is probably in the 10 ounce range. The jeans are my normal size, but I have a good inch of room to work with in the waist so sizing up is not necessary. Unless the pair you are wearing is already snug in the waist before tucking I would say you could comfortably tuck this shirt and a shirt underneath it without issue.
