Thanks for the quick feedback, @Alex. W29 is a bit too large on the waist for me. Yet it seems to offer the perfect front rise and thigh width measurements.

Hopefully there will be a W28 in the next runs to make some of the short(er) and lean(er) guys, like myself for example, happy.

i really wanted these to work, but for some reason the 32 was too snug in the thighs.  33 might work, but with stretch and all i think it will be too loose in the waist.

currently rocking the 888XHSib and it's currently my favorite pair of all time.  ive tried multiple brands, and nothing comes close to these.

any other 21+oz in the 888 cut?

The waist and thigh on these stretch like crazy!  Would it still be too tight if they stretched out 0.5 - 0.75" in the thigh?

Also, if you like non-fading black, I'm breaking in a pair of 888s-SB as I type this. I seem to recall the two of us having about the same waist and there being one size 32 left with a 12.8" thigh…

My pair of 32 888s went from 12.5 to 13".  They're actually too big for me now and need to get rid of them since the waist also went from 32.4 to 33".  I've found that I need to size my IH jeans down about 1" tighter in the waist than I eventually want them to be and about 0.5" tighter in the thigh than I want them to be.  Otherwise, they get too loose in the end.

It's totally possible.  I've seen the thigh on 21oz 32 go from 12.25" to 12.9".  This is one of the reasons I try to buy directly from IHUK.  They're kind enough to provide me very accurate measurements and not let me know how big of a pain in the arse I'm being by asking

It's a much lighter fabric. It's only 4oz but it makes a big difference. One of the more knowledgeable members might be able to expound on why it feels so much thicker.

I'm hoping that they make a XHS version soon.  Insta-cop!

That's Self Edge's tapered version of the 634. So no high rise.
