New guy from Southeast Alaska. I just made my first new purchase so I thought I'd say Hi. I was googling for heaviest flannels and came across Iron Heart. I bought a used one to try it out… And I'm hooked. I bought a used IHSH-203,180,107,96, a pair of IH-634-XHS, and a IHJ-03. I loved the 107 so much I had to get the 238 in the work version! Now I just need a pair of black jeans, oh and that mustard UHF looks so good. Make it stop!!!

I just saw this thread and opened it because I saw @denimhead had posted and have been curious for some time where all his great photos were taken.
I myself am in Chicago. Always have been but someday may head to a place that doesn’t get so cold. It was however the cold that brought me to IH about 2 or so years ago. I was looking for some heavy denim to help me through the winters. Here I am, 2 years later, 6 shirts, 3 pants, 1 jacket, 1 pair boots and a hearty dose of enjoyment. Thanks all. -

I'm 63 years old. I've been wearing 501's all my life because of the button fly and the fit. I walked by a purveyor of Japanese Denim on 9th avenue in my city about a month ago. I was so impressed.
So - I've just purchased a pair of 666S-21 - my first pair of heavy denim ever.
By god these feel great.
Not hemmed. Just cuffed.

I guess the jungle telegraph has picked up a bit in the last few years. There was a point a few years ago when IH and the other Japanese outfits were considered “secret brands”. Nice to have you on board.

New guy here to the forum and ironheart. From N.C. I’ve had rrl, n&f, 3sixteen, Raleigh denim in the past but recently lost enough weight to need to redo my casual wardrobe. Been a very expensive month. Picked up Corduroy III ivory (IHJ-69), 301s 21oz, ombré check in both gray(IHSH-195) and brick (IHSH-195). Waiting on 19oz typeIII (IH-526L-V2) and 8301 SBG to show up in the mail also. Couple quick pics I had.

Quality over quantity , although preferably quality and quantity. I’ve been wearing Alden and Allen Edmonds for years, No issue spending more to get top quality. And with a community this good the brand choice was easy.
