congrats to lewis. i'm still not happy considering vettel had the better car this year. it was his title to lose. such a shame..

Anyone here into MotoGP? This was was my first year following and I'm going through withdrawal after finishing the 2018 season. I have the Dorna videopass, and I was wondering which past seasons y'all would recommend to go back and watch

watched it on and off. not too sure of what season is exciting to watch. but i suppose anything with the doctor will be. i've seen a few races over the past years that had a few good battles between marquez, lorenzo and rossi.. even the old ones (2010/11??) with marquez and stoner battling out..

I follow motogp very closely since 2006 and take a yearly bike trip into Argentina to watch the race they host for the last 5 years. I find it the most exciting motorsport currently available, bar none, so welcome to the club @iamsuperflush !

Have you watched the movie “Hitting the apex”? I recommend it…it gives a fair amount of info on some of the current stars (Marquez, Lorenzo, Rossi). Available on Netflix.

Oh haven't heard of the netflix doc. Will def check it out.

I think I'm going to start the 2002 season. From What everyone says, the last 2 stroke years are some of the most exciting.

i'm wondering if anyone else that follows F1 has anything to say about the FIA decision in Canada last night..

i will make it clear that i'm a ferrari and vettel supporter but i'm being very objective. i believe that the FIA totally stuffed up their decision in awarding vettel the time penalty. it should've been just a racing incident and nothing more.

i'll agree that vettel lost the car under pressure and went onto the grass and tried his very best to collect the car back. he had absolutely tried his very best to return the car as safe as possible given he had no traction having returned from the grass. another factor being that, montreal is a street circuit, meant he had nowhere to go down turns 3 and 4. even hamilton could not overtake him on the inside or outside because of the wall.

had this race been on another track, hamilton could've easily gone past him using the runoff areas like most proper race circuits would have. it's hard to see toto wolff saying that the people shouldn't pressure the FIA so that they will be consistent in their decision making when hamilton has gotten off with nothing on multiple occasions over the past few years. notably the one in silverstone last year and the identical incident in monte carlo..

I did not see the incident but have read a lot about it.  Personally, I am a Hammy supporter, so am reasonably happy about it - he caused the pressure which led to the mistake, but I think the decision was harsh and does no credit to F1

^interesting differing opinion when most of the panel of experts on sky sports etc made up of ex racing drivers seem to think it should not have been a penalty or it was too harsh of a penalty. i think most armchair experts are blaming it on vettel vs hamilton where it's not the case. both of them drove a great race. it's down to the steward's decision that spoils racing for F1 like you said. interestingly enough, i feel that a lot of the stewards decision have been geared to favour mercedes more than anyone else..

                                    the incident in canada

a similar incident between hamilton and riccardo a few years ago (one amongst many others)

hamilton didn't get penalised for this. and let's not forget the 'in in in in in' incident in silverstone last year..

Today I showed up at Aprilia’s PR event in Barcelona in preparation for Sunday’s motogp race.

Brad Smith (UK) and Alex Espargaro (Spain) were signing autographs and standing in for pics,

as well as Andrea Iannone (Italy).

I showed up with my new IHSH 226 pimped with a GAH button.

                                      The journey is the objective.
