      Just wanted to articulate how we ship your stuff and what you should expect in terms of notifications etc.

      All shipments with the exception of Russia and Canada are shipped via UPS (in Europe we use UPS Standard and for the rest of the world, UPS Express).  For Canada and Russia we use EMS (Parcel Force).

      When you place an order we aim to pack the same day.  Mr UPSMan arrives at about 13:00 GMT and Parcel Force Pete at about 16:00 GMT.  So if your order arrives before those times, your order should go out same day.

      When we run the end of day processes, you will get an email from either UPS or Parcel Force notifying you of the tracking number.  These emails have a number of hyperlinks in them and they may end up in spam folder.  Once the end of day process is run, we also update the status of your order in the Iron Heart online shop.  As of Monday 28th Feb 2011, we will insert the tracking number into your order status too, this automatically generates an email to you.

      Expected shipping times:

      US East Coast - 1-2 working days
      Rest of USA - 2-3 working days
      Far East - 1-2 days
      Australia and New Zealand  - 3-4 days
      UK - Next day
      Europe - 3-5 days

        G, I get order update emails along the way including when my order is shipped, and I can attest to the super fast shipping and have never had a problem, but I never seem to see tracking numbers in the emails, nor do I see tracking numbers when I login to my account on the shop and look at order details, nor do I get auto emails from UPS…

        Is the above process a new thing?

          The auto emails from UPS def happen (we get copies here), but as more than just you are having issues with them getting spammed or whatever, we are starting the above process as on next Monday…...

            Not a complaint, but with my order I placed on monday this week I didn't receive anything from UPS not even in my spam folder. I got the message from IH to say it had been dispatched then nothing until UPS man arrived on Wednesday. It seemed strange as in the past I've been able to track all the way. The order arrived safely so no problem just thought I'd mention it.

                  Even if I don't get a tracking #, I know it'll be in my hands in two days..

                    Hi all

                    Wanted to let you know about some changes we've made.

                    We've started stocking and selling a number of smaller items, and most of these are expensive to ship individually, so up till now you've had to buy something of higher value at same time, or the item's stacked awaiting a future purchase.  You (forum members) can still stack stuff like this if you want to, no problemo.

                    To tidy up the website, and make everyone's lives as straightforward as possible, we now state that free worldwide shipping applies to orders of USD150 or higher -  so all of our main products (jeans, shirts) continue to qualify for free worldwide shipping.  Now if anyone wishes to purchase - say - just one t-shirt they can do so without having to buy something of higher value at same time, but it will attract a shipping fee (or we would lose money on the item).

                    As already said, any of our beloved forum members placing sub-USD150 orders can if you wish simply ignore the request to add a shipping fee and state in the order comments your forum name and a request to stack.

                    We've given this a lot of sober (and drunken) thought, with the aims of streamlining our processes and making the IH world as fair a place as possible.  Any comments/observations from members gratefully received.

                      No problemo with me. I guess it make sense,small item ship individually will not be cost effective. Dont worry, we will still have a lot more goodies to buy from here in future. So stack a small product shouldn't be a problem.

                            I think this kind of the information and the inform things would finally do help to the knowing more about the shipping items and some of details about the kind of the changes and I believe it

                                  Ordered something from Kiosk 78 a week ago and I just got a call from customs…. They want to know specifics of the item I purchased. Am I going to incur fees?

                                      They know it is from a store… Can I say my friend works there and it was a bday gift? No clue if there is an invoice in there with it. This has NEVER happened to me...

                                        Was it sent from within the States?.. They might ask to add taxes (NY citizens pay extra taxes on stuff, no?).

                                            I recently got hit with a customs bill on a fairly large IH order that came to my place.
                                            Apparently, UPS covered it then billed me.
                                            The tariff rate on a cotton t-shirt is 16.25%!

                                            They took the declared values straight off the invoice that was attached to the package.  I'm pretty sure you have to declare a value so There's probably something on there…
