Sure thing Max - the thighs give a good bit. I washed and machine dried a lot and they stay a lot larger than they were from fresh (even though they were one washed from SC).

I chose my usual IH size I wore back then and they were slightly too big in the top block but wearable. Everything else is rather slim. Their denim is light and does stretch a lot if necessary. Though, sizing down could be tricky because then they can end up like jeggings. I think SE's sizing charts for the SC41470 do them justice but beware that every size except 38 comes with a relatively short inseam. As a side note: I really didn't like their sulphur smell which stayed even after 10+ soaks and washes.

That's a bit over-stated, but I'll accept it, lol!
Sugar Cane is one of my favorite brands, and some of their denims are REALLY nice.
Actually, my summer jeans for almost 3 years now are Sugar Canes. I can't recall which model, but I'll check later and post some pics of them if I remember.

Accidentally stumbled upon them, browsing the sites of Japanese shops selling denim, on the site Rakuten, Earth Market.

They had free shipping all over the world and another 2,000 yen, in honor of the New Year, a very successful purchase came out. Dang no posts since 21’. Well I finally found a sugar cane 1953 type II in my size. Couldn’t be happier! I was worried about this one because of the boxy “vintage” fit. But it’s great. The sleeves are a great length. I hate short sleeves because I ride a motorcycle so it’s the first measurement I look for. All the type II’s out there (besides IH) have short ass sleeves. These are the perfect length. I’m gonna need more Sugar Cane now -
