Virtually no difference.  Take a look at the difference between knee width and leg opening.  It's a constant taper, just do the math…...

Ah I see now, thanks for the tip.  In the particular size I'm looking at there is only a 0.6" difference from knee to leg opening.  With that being said, the difference will be not noticable with a hem.

I am worried though with this size leg opening that I will not be able to wear Vans authentics the way I like to.  I've been told leg opening around 7.5 is best for that, maybe I'll search for a different cut.

think bnwt is brand new with tags,or brand new without tags,could be wrong,sbg im not sure,,could be the new colour black/grey type jean,,bound to be wrong,,,,,

BNWT: brand new with tags (whereas BNWOT is brand new without tags)
