no probs, I basically just use the Obenauf's leather oil every 3 - 4 months in order to clean the off the indigo stains.

agreed, not much to worry about with high quality leather, use a decent product (I like Obenauf's LP) a few times a year, don't overdo it, wipe it clean every once in a while.

Be aware neatsfoot oil will often darken leather.

EDIT: How are you liking that Altadena Ring? I have been contemplating one for a while because im sick of the chrome chipping off all mine. I really dont want to spend 30 bucks on a key ring but its one of those things that once its on your keys you dont have to worry about it till you die. always looks the same and never really degrades…
