A new boot make-up from Viberg always creates a real sense of anticipation at the store. The latest arrival is no exception. Built on the 1035 last, with a partially structured toe, Viberg uses a truly beautiful ‘Mocha Vintage’ leather from Horween. This is the classic 7 eyelet, double stitch down, service boot style, lined with kip leather - an homage to many officer boots throughout WWII. New from Iron Heart is the Non-Fade Super Black Trucker in their signature 21oz. denim. Based on the instantly recognisable ‘type 3’ styling, Iron Heart has added the always popular hand warmer pockets and a little extra length through the body as an alternative to the usual short and boxy silhouette. Both the warp and weft are reactive dyed, so this will hold its colour well and true through much wear.
Our spring/summer range from Moonstar is now complete with the arrival of the second wave this week. Extending the line up we have added both the Canvas Thermo in beige and the Mud Guard in off white. These are kiln fired at 120 degrees centigrade which causes the rubber to naturally bond with both itself and the shoe upper, which creates an impermeable water proof layer to the top of the rubber. Super durable, super comfortable and super stylish, these have it all and more.

Nine Lives has absolutely smashed it with the ultimate transition jacket in the shape of the ‘Skin of Cthulhu’ sashiko bomber. This piece feels like something you hope will exist one day in the future, once materials & technology catch up with the imagination. The body is a custom Sashiko combining all the alchemy - indigo dyed, heat blackened and finally waxed. This results in a water repellent fabric, with a graphite sheen that will crock blue with wear as the indigo reveals itself. The lining is a rendering in thick, vintage rayon of HP Lovecrafts cosmic entity, Cthulhu designed by Florian Bertmer.

The Nixon blue chambray from Mister Freedom is inspired by the 50’s garment patterns. This shirt comes in a light 100% cotton Japanese fabric. The material is crisp to the touch with a subtle texture, and as always from MF, little details abound.
A double layer chest pocket, corozo buttons, contrast stitching with little flashes of summer green to bar tacks and chain stitch run off, concealed selvedge ID and a chin strap with vintage style MFSC button, all serve to raise the bar for this perfect, cool, chambray.

The 'Shady Financier" from Nine Lives is a 70% linen and 30% cotton blend in the same classic Nine Lives slim fit with raglan sleeves.
The buttons are concealed within the double placket save one small feature button on the chest. The fabric oozes texture which becomes ever more apparent after several washes. Available in white and khaki.

We fell in love with the IHJ-69 when we first saw it and opted for the khaki version. Available in all sizes S to XXL.
This is a modified Type 3 jacket with a longer body than the original and made from a 14w corduroy.
The jacket has 2 good inner storage pockets as well as the 2 chest and 2 hand-warmer pockets. All finished off with Iron Heart's solid iron buttons.

3sixteen hits the spring with a full on relaxed, holiday vibe shown by three short sleeve shirts. The Vacation Shirt features a square hem and signature crosscut yoke. The cotton fabric is a light toned khaki, with a subtle texture delivered by some discreet cross hatch pattern stitching.
The Popover shirt is a button down collar, straight yoke with a 4 button half placket. 100% linen, with coconut buttons and palm leaf print, everything about this piece says summer in the sun and cool evenings relaxing with a beer.
If channeling smart casual is the choice the Short Sleeve Button Down Shirt will have you sorted. With white, floral print to a black background, this soft lightweight cotton option has mother of pearl buttons and a gentle curve to the hem, hinting at a more dressier shirt.

Pure Blue Japan has now released a Trucker jacket with its own unique take. As you would expect from the masters of Indigo dyeing, these iterations demonstrate their skill in colour and tone. They are available in a double black with warp and weft both sulphur dyed. With wear the jacket will fade to grey. The deep indigo version has rope-dyed indigo warp and weft and is full of texture which fades with high contrast over time.
Pure Blue Japan has us ready and waiting for the warmer weather with two completely different takes on the work shirt silhouette. The first comes in a 4 oz. cotton light indigo chambray and the other in a wonderfully soft 8 oz. indigo "sun blushed' check. They are gently washed and faded, offer a relaxed but still tailored cut and have 2 chest pockets. Both come with the signature embroidered indigo leaf to the side seam.

The new jersey t shirts again demonstrate Pure Blue Japan's mastery of indigo dyeing and textures. The 100% supima cotton yarns have been rope-dyed and woven with a distinct ‘slubby’ hand. The Flat Head has taken inspiration from its classic 7001 denim shirt and updated it with a twist . Whilst keeping all the points that made the earlier version so popular – rolled inseams, mother of pearl snaps, western stitch detailing and slanted pockets – this time they have used a natural indigo to dye the yarns. This technique reveals a unique depth of fading with wear. The lighter weight 10 oz. fabric makes this a perfect option to traverse the seasons.
The Flat Head constantly pushes itself to find new and superior techniques in all aspects of its production. They have used a new gradation print similar to how a printing machine works (as opposed to screen printing) to produce the " Steady Blue" loopwheeled THC T shirt. This process allows for a more intricate pattern. The Flat Head has now returned to its original THC series fit.
Also new and updated is the Cordovan card case. Using a highly oiled leather from the Shinki tannery in Japan, this version is tri-tone with a russet brown exterior, black interior, all lined inside with soft yellow pigskin. Ideal for both cash and cards it functions as your everyday wallet or as a smaller slimmer alternative to a bifold or trucker.
We have restocked all sizes of the incredible Flat Head Horsehide Cafe Racer. This equine leather is 1.3mm thick and commissioned to The Flat Head's very particular specifications by the renowned Shinki tannery in Japan.

Our first drop from Stevenson Overall this spring sees the return of the Saddle Horn jacket. This type II style in a 12 oz. indigo selvedge denim has front pleats which hail back to the first denim jackets of the 19th century. This version has a curved front yoke and exposed rivets for extra authenticity. It is single needle stitched throughout.
The long sleeve indigo waffle henley has also returned and is as soft as ever. This is a great fitting garment which like everything in our store just gets better with wear.

Literally the first thing I saw when I walked through the door this afternoon was “that” Nine Lives bomber. The placing was deliberate apparently… Tried a few pieces on, probably end up with another t-shirt for the collection. Hope Danny and Junior are enjoying themselves.

Pure Blue Japan has launched a new denim limited to summer 2018. The 1144 is a slubby 14 oz. fabric with natural indigo warp and black reactive dyed weft. The jeans can be worn smart and dressy and the clean lines are finished off with a navy “shoai” leaf emblem on the back pocket. Reactive dyed black yarns will also fade so expect some high contrast evolution over time.
Each season PBJ never ceases to impress us with its new custom fabrics. The lightweight sweatshirt in various iterations is heavier than a T shirt but lighter than a sweatshirt. The fabric is developed in Wakayama and rope-dyed in Okayama. The round hem style comes in crew neck and long-sleeve Henley versions, the latter with indigo dyed chambray buttons. The Military Henleys feature metal buttons and available in both long and short sleeves.
The Slub Jersey T shirt is now available in long sleeve version. The fabric uses 100% supima cotton known for its softness and lustre and is rope-dyed indigo.

We received a much awaited restock of our Real Japan Blues x The Flat Head collaboration jeans (with a waiting list as long as your arm) last week in both the RFR-002 (slim tapered) and RFR 004 (relaxed tapered) fits.
These jeans really do take some beating. They use RJB’s renowned signature left hand twill / Zimbabwe cotton denim, the superlative construction knowhow of TFH and with our very own cut and details. They age and improve like no other and are super comfortable to wear. Available in Raw and One-Wash.

Iron Heart comes through with a truly versatile piece, the IHSH-177. Utilising a heavy duty, 18 oz fabric this can be worn as either a shirt or a jacket according to circumstance. They have taken the much loved silhouette of their classic denim western and transformed it into a CPO with the addition of hand warmer pockets, heavy duty press stud fastening and a twill lining to the cuffs, collar stand and pocket linings. This really will cross the seasons with ease.
The Flat Head releases its latest Shinki horsehide Rider's jacket. This custom made leather is a darker shade of black compared with its predecessor. The leather, still a substantial 1.3mm in thickness is slightly more supple than before. Being tea-core with a semi-aniline finish it will age magnificently. The asymmetrical design with D-pocket, cinch buckles, and sateen lining has otherwise not changed. This jacket is a flagship piece of the store and we are thrilled to have it back in stock.

We have a new jean from Pure Blue Japan. This is their signature fabric - dialled down to a lighter weight 12oz, whilst retaining every bit of character, slub and texture of its heavier counterparts. The 1143 is available in the popular relaxed, tapered fit which allows a little more room in the thigh and rise, with a neat taper to the hem.
