snaps? but Seul, if i hang 'em, dont i end up with a line across the leg ? the hangers do have a bar across them. maybe i just dont get it? besides i think just air-drying, then folding (and of course flattening the selvedge out) and putting into a drawer is the least amount of stress on the denim.

hey at $15 i just couldnt go wrong.

(puffs chest out, and very proud of himself for buying wooden hangers)

It acquires because of the cotton 100% and true goodness is understood.

As an alternative to the clips, I like notched hangers, like this:

If you're careful with a drill/router/Dremel, you can modify your existing wood hangers, which might be easier than finding clips.

Sorry for the off brand; that was just the first pair I grabbed for the pics.

Managed to find a pair of tapered 634s-b nearly new.  They just arrived this morning, and they dont really fit, whimper!  (I thought they might be too big but decided to risk it, I might just become really overweight instead of selling :/)  If anyone has any IH's in a 31 or 32 and want to size up 1 or 2, I'm up for a swapsies!

Comedically wide selvedge from taper.  No chainstitch unfortunately.  Anyone know where to get this done in the UK?

            No dissing my 'slippers'!

edit: be brutally honest please, can I rock these?  I usually wear much slimmer/tighter but I cant bring myself to sell these….

I'm honest - I think they're too short. The waist could be doable, if you feel comfortable with it, but once the combs set in, these will be too short, I fear. And if the waist sat where it should, they would be too short anyway. I think you'd be better off with one size down.

I think the top block looks way too big.  And even with the taper at the bottom, the leg opening is still pretty wide on you.  Whether that's a problem is your call.

Length looks ok to me, Max.  You really think he'll lose that much from the combs?

                    :-\

Taking the mickey beats? 🙂  I was using those little ones for a knee injury and only have them all for sport (jump height in basketball) I didnt leave them in the shot to show off (I just live in a small flat, sniffle), if i was so inclined, I would have put more than 25kg on the bar  😉
(or am I completely paranoid and misreading that passing comment as sarcasm directed at my ostentation?)  🙂
edit:  cropped 'em in photobucket, should be a bit neater now.

                    Thanks for your honesty Max.

Edit:  I agree Chris, the leg opening is actually only 8" it just seems to sit really wide because the top block is so roomy.
                    So…... Anyone have any 31 or 32" IH's they wanna swap :P?

i've got that book too. some pretty interesting facts but very vague and some what repetitive. only takes couple of days to read it properly. i am hoping he does a follow on book because i am really more interested in after 1890s which is when the book ends.

I think it's an older item that was still made in France. Not sure though, but really couldn't care less... I see this as a 2ndhandpurchase (eBay) although the items are NWT...
