Haha… although I am ahead of the curve. My shoulder hurts too.

A mint impy stout sounds great, if done well. I’ve only ever seen one and it used artificial flavouring. It was grim.

That’s awesome @Seul. Trillium is great! Their brewery is about 2 hours from where I live. I’ve had a lot of their beers. Enjoy!

          Maybe so. Maybe not

I’ve had a pine needle beer before. It worked well.

Meanwhile in Belgium… Tourists get the blame for Seul’s glassware “collecting”:

They got that idea from me - all my glasses have tags in case of swarms of drunken Britons coming through… My toilet has one as well btw, cause in Mansfield this apparently is still a new and quite expensive invention... At least that's what the guy installing it said, but he was from Gosport originally, and tried to nick a chair... (Chairs now tagged as well...)

I’ve decided I’m not fond of chili in stout. It can be good when balanced out with other flavours, when it’s front and centre as it is here it’s not to my taste.

                          Today:

How many of these could I drink before getting bored? More than I could pay for.

This was the second overpriced, underwhelming offering I’ve tried from this series. There won’t be a third:

The other one you didn't like was the vanilla, right? I've never had either.

I like their fruit sours, though.

It was a Vanilla Stout. It wasn’t bad, it was just profoundly dull, especially for the price. Same deal here. Very unexciting beer.

The chili was far too dominant in the Nøgne. No vanilla or other sources of sweetness to balance it.

None at all. But they taste like the sweat off a nun’s thigh.  A hot, randy nun that is. Not the kind you’re used to.
