I'm just about to order same boots in Tobacco brown and 8" high. Need to know if they are true to size or should I go half size up or down.

i went tts.  i'm a 9 in the alden indy,  9 in rw iron ranger,  i got a 9 in this boot.

my sendra's are 42/9 Carolinas 9 and chippewas 9. Chippewas are plenty roomy, otherwise 9 is my tts. I read somewhere one should size half down on iron rangers, so that makes me wonder…anyhow you got tts on these and ir's...

sizing down half on iron rangers makes sense because i put an insole in them and they still fit.

I would recommend these to anyone.  Wish i hadnt missed out on the limited horsehide boots they made for Epaulet last year.

on topic:  Thanks!  I really love these boots.  they are WAY more comfortable than the Red Wing boots i've owned.  the sorbothane cushion/removable insole combo take em to the next level for sure.
