Same here. I thought it was going to be the usual prime time BBC period piece pap. Halfway through series 1 (I'm English…seasons didn't exist in tv land when I was a kid!)

Really looking forward to watching this series in full.

Just gone through the first couple of seasons of Halt and Catch Fire, enjoying it so far. AMC are second only to HBO in terms of their show quality imo.

It's based on the very good book of the same name by Richard K. Morgan, which I read a while back.

^ me too. Read all of Morgan’s stuff. The only disappointment so far was the ending of The Cold Commands. The series looks decent.

In the meantime I can recommend Godless on Netflix. Sublime, cinematic TV.

Quite a few questions left unanswered and some curious decisions made by the writers but, on the whole, an excellent third season and conclusion to The Leftovers.

The Walking Dead S7 was sooooo boring. Good lord this show has really gone downhill. I got a chuckle whenever King Ezekiel made an appearance. For those of you who don't know, Khary Payton, the actor who played King Ezekiel, is also a voice actor and does the voices for Grimlock in Transformers: Robots in Disguise as well as Cyborg in Teen Titans Go!. Everytime Ezekiel spoke I imagined him doing his Cyborg voice and saying, "Booyah!"

So godless is good eh? Currently watching pesky blinders. Need to sort out my next series to watch while I’m on the stair master at the gym. Anybody watch Ozark or ozarks? Whatever the fek it’s called.

don't watch the show, can just walk the streets of NY if I want to see zombies, but had no idea Cyborg & Grimlock are voiced by the same actor

teen titans go is my joint and I watch it all the time with my kids, well only my daughter now as my son is at that age where he thinks he has outgrown it but will watch it again in his twenties

watched Ozark and it was okay.  a lot of people I knew raved about it but it wasn't really my speed/style

godless is good but it kind of loses steam towards the end, either way it is good television and i wish they did a bit more with some of the characters but i'll leave that as not to spoil anything either way
