Merry Christmas and happy New Year everyone! I gave my jeans an early Christmas present in the form of a hand wash in the tub.

I noticed quite a bit of indigo in the water, and you can definitely see the lighter blues on the left (post wash) and right (pre wash).

They also dry fast as hell… I washed them last night and they were dry this morning.

The knees on these are fading pretty fast. Typical.

I didn't want to put these through the machine again after only 5 days wear since the last time so tried @fanya method of shower washing. Worked pretty good and means I can wear them over my xmas break now.

@spitfiredealer glad to see I'm not the only crazy one around, and it worked well enough to wear in front of family!

it's been a month since my last pic post, 2 more soaks, so I've been slacking a little.

They are still pushing out their magical blues through the black phase, they look their best in sunlight although I do catch a glimpse of brilliance every once in a while too in the office.  They definitely don't break in as fast in the office as skydiving but it is definitely easier work

Lighting in my house sucks, so it is either a little dark or a little washed out, next time I'll try pictures on the brown carpet, maybe it'll mess with the sensors less than the white carpet.

Everyone looks great in their jean btw, I love rolling through the images quick when I get a chance!

I hope you guys have had a great Christmas, and aren't too hung over going into boxing day 

It's been a while since i posted, and i loved going through your updates.  They're all looking seriously good for a couple of months in.

I think my photography needs some serious work, but here goes (Day 55):






I haven't seen a need for a soak or wash so far.

I'll be checking in more frequently, so see you all before the new year.
