DIE HARD and BABE are the ONLY x-mas movies ever made…
PS: there is no DIE HARD 3 just as there is no BABE 2...Again: there's DIE HARD... DIE HARD 2 (DIE HARDER)... There's BABE... But there's no DIE HARD 3 (DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE)... Doesn't exist... Just as there isn't BABE 2 (PIG IN THE CITY)...

Gremlins is an awesome Holiday movie, wait a minute this is the unpopular opinions thread. . . okay so Gremlins is better than Babe since Babe is a rip-off of Charlotte's Web and that Gordy movie from the 90s wasn't so bad

I guess gremlins is awesome to me because the movie came out when I was like ten or something and Babe came out when I was already out of high school.
I really just want to slow up all the annoying movie talk in the unpop thread so true hate and discontent could come back

As a body of work, it's decent… But, those original 3 really make it hard for anyone "new" to truly get in to it, MOSTLY because:
For a n00b, the most logical way to watch them is "episode order". The biggest problem with that is not plot reveals in the prequels, but rather how damn difficult it is to watch the original 3 after being spoiled with a decent script, decent acting, and watching the beautiful CG/special effects of the prequels.
George Lucas is a horrible screenwriter, and it's hard to unsee the bad acting from the original 3 films. I didn't think the prequels were much better.

Jesus, how can so many people be so wrong about everything?
1. Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, Return Of The Jedi. Period. There are no other movies, there are no other titles, and saying those late 90s abominations had good acting is just objectively silly.
2. Die Hard, Die Harder, Live Free Or Die Hard are awesome, and the original is the best Christmas movie ever made. Three and five are crap.
3. Gremlins is ok. Gremlins 2 is better.
4. And while Terminator 2 isn't perfect, at least it gets rid of that mushy love story. The Guns-n-Roses song is total 90s cheeseball, though. -
oh man you left out a Christmas Story. it tops all die hards with drama and action.
tongues stuck to tire changes, frozen flagpoles, glowing lamps, cursing kids, bunny PJ's and Chinese food for a holiday dinner all awesome.

I didn't forget A Christmas Story, it's just not as good as Die Hard.
And if we're going to go off movies, moc toes on shoes and boots are hideous. That includes everything from the Alden Indy to the Red Wing whatever.

we all know the proper way is 4-5-6 then 1-2-3. that way, you're thrown into it all without knowing what happened and get mind blown when you figure out things that happen in 4-5-6 happen for a reason.. also i believe i might have said before that i will forever refuse to watch the new generation of star wars mainly because i'm a believer that the sith is dead when anakin kill sidious and the last of the sith died when vader did.

Just supposed to give up? For example. Osama bin laden gets killed, does the jihad movement stop? No it doesn’t. I find this entire argument completely silly and stupid but if we’re gonna have it then god damn it we’re gonna have it. I watched them in Machete Order (IV, V, II, III, VI) after hearing my co-workers rave that it was the way to go (But, I added in Ep. I after IV and V).
Btw, ending on Return of the Jedi was so cringy after watching I, II and III

It’s probably not an unpopular opinion but I can’t believe you’re all ragging on these Japanese brands when Gustin, Lawless and Naked and Famous exist ???
To be fair it was a slam on the arcs. Not the denim. Everyone agrees the denim of any of the "ugly-arc" Japanese brands is far better than the ones you named.
