IH-666S-14WB - Overdyed White 14oz Selvedge Denim Slim Straight Cut

Ok @Graeme - I've come back to check out your fit pic 9,000 times and it almost has me convinced they will work for me. Essentially, these are nearly identical to my 8301 measures (when they were new), except about an inch smaller in the thigh. The rise is about the same, the knee is the same, the hem is almost the same, and the inseam is about the same.

Plus, my 8301 have quickly stretched out more than I would have liked, and are actually pretty baggy in the thigh, so perhaps getting  smaller size now will keep a nice slim silhouette even after i wear them a bunch.

My last "theory" im using to convince myself is this…

If my 634s-B have stretched out more than my 634S - perhaps the 14oz Bleached and OD material will stretch out more than the rinsed 14oz. @Giles - would you say this is a safe assessment? After a wash, do you find that your 14oz 666 stretch back out rather quickly?

I can't believe I'm having this hard of a time convincing myself to get a pair of white jeans… white jeans are like "my thing." haha

@Appfaff I've noticed my pair have become a touch looser over the last couple of days, but it's probably no more than half an inch, if that. I'd be inclined to try the 38s, and if they don't work, I'm sure that @Giles will let you exchange them for the 40s. Or order both, and return the ones that don't fit. #wereallenablershere

I'm liking my pair, not sure if the girlfriend appreciates them.

Incidentally, I'm used to indigo crocking on my wallet, but this is the first time I've had white crocking!

Yeah, my wife isn’t exactly a HUGE fan of my white denim

And I haven’t pulled the trigger yet - weighing my options with some XHS at the moment…

But I do think the 38 will be fine for me with a bit of stretch

I got a pair of these in 2017. They didn't come in for a huge amount of wear, and unfortunately a blowout led to a big rip. It was an interesting fabric, and I love it when Haraki does his crazy experiments, but I suspect that bleaching the jeans weakened the denim.
