    @shego:

    Gutted about these - recently I've grown too big for the XXL - they're a tad too short. Still own 10-12 of them!

    What are the measurements of yours? I may be interested

      Does anyone have any experience of their type 3 please?  I'm considering the shadow denim that's being run at the moment, but the sleeves look VERY short (23.5" in a large, 24" in XL) on the last run.  I have a 526od in xl that works great over a uhf or hoodie, but doesn't look great over just a t-shirt.  I think this would, if i can get the sizing right.  Thanks

        I have a black type 3.  in short, I think you would be taking a small chance ordering the large over the XL and having it be a bit tight in the chest…..  Unless you are more thinking about just wearing with thinner layers underneath, then it will probably be ok.  The arms on mine are no shorter than what the arms on my IHxVS T1 are.  I did size up to medium in the 316, but have plenty of room in the chest and the sleeves hit right at the same spot as my IHxVS which is a small.

        I think there may be a difference in the shape of the shoulder seam which causes the shorter arm measurement because looking at Blue Owl's 316 size chart and comparing to IH's IHxVS size chart the arm length is about 2" different which is not the case with the two jackets I own.  Unless they drastically changed the cut/length on the most recent run of type 3's I think the arms will be fine and you should just focus on the chest.

          @bloodnthunder thanks a lot for this, very detailed and just what i was looking for.  It was the massive difference in the sleeve length between most type 3s (particularly my 526Jod)  and the 3:sixteen that was concerning me, so hopefully you are right about the shoulder seems being different.

          Was also good to know that you have both and that the arms are roughly the same.  I was only thinking of wearing it with a t-shirt, so may well risk the large and hope for the best.

          Thanks again, was a big help[emoji2]

            If any of you are interested in that 3sixteen x Schott limited edition Perfecto jacket that sold out almost instantly back in June, I just noticed they have L and XL back in stock at 3sixteen: https://www.3sixteen.com/collections/outerwear/products/schott-for-3sixteen-perfecto-jacket

              Kick starting this thread, just picked up the double black Type 3s. Fit is so damn good, so happy with it.

                    Thanks man, I will probably try it on again next week and make up my mind. It's a cool piece for sure!

                          Thanks @den1mhead! It's a really awesome jacket, 14.5oz so it's nice and light, and if you have thought about getting one, I'd say do it! I think I'll retake the pics in the shade, the sun seems to wash out the color a little. It does fade quick, especially in the crook of the elbow and the black behind the denim makes it pop really nicely. I would caution you about sizing… I wear M or L shirts, L coats and jackets... this think is 2XL. Definitely Japanese sizing.

                                Does anyone own the 3sixteen short sleeve henley?  Specifically, this one: https://www.3sixteen.com/collections/tees/products/short-sleeve-henley-black?

                                Curious about shrinkage experience after washing.  Fit is good now, but might be too small if it shrinks very much.  But then again, if it stretches back out I might consider keeping this size.

                                  Standard & Strange are running a pre-order for a Type III in suede, made by Simmons Bilt. Looks a nice jacket.

                                    Well spotted, looks very nice! I'm not a big fan of the side pockets on it, though. They're kind of looking odd.

                                      Just curious, who makes their hoodies and sweatshirts?

                                      I'm looking for some and Reigning Champ is too slim for my liking. How's their fit?

                                          I was wondering that myself. when I saw 3sixteen's hoodies and that they were made in Canada I automatically assumed they were made by the same company that makes Reigning Champ's stuff
