Got the boots through today. First impressions…unbelievable quality...much better than anything i've owned before...Only problem is the sizing. I sized down a half size and shouldn't have. They're on their way back to The Bureau as we speak. Going TTS. So if you're thinking of going for a pair of Yuketen Double Wool Hunt Boots...GO TTS! By the way, these look SO much better in the flesh than in photos. Beautiful chunky mother hens! Not regretting spending all that cash for things of such quality and beauty. Guess that's what we all look for in our gear.
M!ch…you really gotta go for these...original but not as far out as photos would suggest. Incredible boots.

If only i could try them on before buying!So the main guide boot on the Vibram is a much safer bet for me, as i'm pretty confident i will love everything about these.
Good to know they look even better in the flesh, i already like the look of them on the photos!A shame the sizing didn't work out for you, but it gives me a better idea that i should stick with my regular RW size of 9,5E instead of sizing half a size down to my Alden size.
M!ch be careful with the Maine sizing. I think Geo said he sized down half a size on those. Check earlier in the thread. Gareth at The Bureau Belfast also said the Maine ran bigger than the Hunt Boot. Do like the look of that I must admit. Would go with the Brown personally. When you gonna take the plunge? Don't think you'll regret it!

I wanted some really wild ones , and hell, those shoes are wild..feels like wearing slippers , the sole is so bouncy..We can do anything

lol..as said - I wasn´t looking for any kind of regular shoe, I figured if I do Yuketen I want something that´s just a little bit out there…but I gotta tell you - these things are comfy and weigh like zero

Oh thanks for the warning, might have to reconsider sizing again in that case and go with a 9 after all.
It also depends if E width is available, because i could also possibly fit the more narrow D width when i go up half a size.
I really love the cerise maine guide boot with the deerskin tongue, that looks so soft and comfy
Don't know when i'll take the plunge, i'm also considering some other options (White's or Wesco in roughout on a Vibram sole) at the moment. -

Yeah I think it depends on the model as to how you size. Well that's what they told me at the Bureau. The Maine tends to run bigger than the Hunt boot for example. Best check with the shop first.
Dunno what's goin on with the yuketen craze…we should get a group discount!

Cool thanks for the sizing advice, i do wear different sizes in Alden and RW though.
In Alden i'm a 9E (or EE), RW 9,5E, White's 9,5E, Clarks 9,5 ,Chucks 9,5 and Vans a solid 10 -
Beatle and G…they look incredible. I'm sure Mrs G will come round. Saying that my wife has yet to clap eyes on mine....looking forward to some sniggering followed by shouting when she sees the receipt...Think i've found a good hiding place for such incriminating evidence but you can never be sure can you?!
