Nice! I lasted about a week before I ordered my pair. I'm glad I went for the slim straight over the slim taper as even the straights are not made for larger calves. Been enjoying mine for a solid 3ish months now and definitely have gotten a lot of comments on them.
I did the same and went for the slim straight too, after trying them on after the soak I'm glad I did! Was worried at first but they definitely fit smaller! Did you find a red Strike Gold tag in your coin pocket?

Hadn't noticed before. I just checked and do have a red SG tag in my coin pocket. Weird… Almost like they intended to add it to the outside of the coin pocket and at the last second didn't? Or Forgot?

Ah ha! No no, they left it there so you can choose if you want to add it on the back pocket! I asked Andrew from Self Edge as I thought the same thing. He said it wasn't in all of them, but a few. I'm going to have them unpick the back pocket stitching and add it in when I have them hemmed.

Ha! Kind of an extra exclusive surprise. When I eventually have to send them in to be repaired I just may have them add it then. Mine have been in rotation with about 4 other pairs so I'm a ways out from needing any work down. Definitely enjoying them though. They're just now starting to show some good character.

@David_pll you're going to love them. Have had my pair for a number of months and the carpet like denim is just starting to give way. Did your pair come with the red tab sewn in already or was that special requested? My red tab came in the coin pocket (not sewn in).

The red tab was in the coin pocket, I had it stitched in when I took them in to be hemmed.
The texture of these is insane, so happy with them!

I don't think You would be a XXL. I believe we are close to the same size and my XL was too large…
Just my 2C for what it's worth.
Edit: except for the Indigo dyed ones, since they run smaller I believe.
