it is not the same denim - the denim used on the devils is the new 18oz which turns out to be arund 20oz pre soak or pre dye …the new 18oz is a denim which has a lot of character. But fading will be similar - od fades to blueish hue and like all denim to white in points of extreme stress (basically core color of thread, white cotton)

^sizing up looks good which brings me to this question:

Looking at the measurements it seems to me that a true waist size 34 like myself could even do a size 38 in OD for a somewhat more "relaxed" fit as the differences between a size 36 and a 38 are consistently less than half an inch … Have any of you 34's out there thought about going for a size 38, and/or would anyone recommend doing it?
Also does OD denim stretch out as much as indigo, or is it much less?

These will stretch a lot.  The OD process takes a load of shrinkage out, but some of that shrinkage gives in very easily to a bit of pressure….

seconded.again - I could wear these true to size, but the rise is a good bit lower than on the Busters - thus going for 1 size up felt like it does the cut justice.

They have stretched plenty - measure exactly 15.5 in the waist after a couple of days wearing them.

Furatto - I would not recommend going up to a 38 from a 34 true waist. 36 will be plenty relaxed…

i havent been able to get a hold of 301bk's in a couple of months so i figure this might be my best shot at an OD slim cut…

i dont mind slim jeans at all and im a 34'' waist. Would getting the sz. 34 be deadly or should i go with the 36? I just dont want my badge to say 36:/

my other jeans are all roughly the equivalent to 34'' waists (skull 33, dior 32, db 32)

i might just wait for 301s as i heard they are looser in the top block than the 666s
