Patrick's IH Adventure (2016 Intern)

Happy Friday again! The weather's getting windy, rainy and colder here in South England, but c'est la vie!
To start things off, @Giles showed me and @Lindsey how to repair holes in fabrics by darning them up.
Here's the hole that needs repair
And here it is towards the end of its darning treatment! Wooooahh.
With so much product flying in, we've been trying to figure out where to hang everything.. Luckily we have a sheeit ton of bamboo laying around so G placed them strategically around the office… As so.
Here's Lindsey slaving away to bag em up…
G purchased a cool 'high reach hanger hook' to help us out hang clothes in those hard to reach areas.. But due to the amount of clothes we usually place in a certain area it'll work 75% of the time. The other 25% will have unwanted garments tumbling down with you scrambling to keep them from hitting the floor. C'est la vie.
@Madame Buttonfly helping support it up while I takes the photo.
Unfortunately, I was a bit sick these past couples of days, so I essentially missed what could've been a great opportunity to get high as a flying kite from the huffing of glue with the crew putting this beauty together..
More space to measure and dance mfkas!!!!!
This all being said and done, it's been a very busy (but productive) couple weeks again. Thanks to all you guys keeping up with my adventure here, and please do enjoy this (almost) double rainbow..

Guess what tomorrow is….
You got it. THE 1ST OF DECEMBER. This basically means every parcel we send out starting from now until Christmas(ish) time will receive a little one of these cute Iron Heart logo'd Chocolate bag things.
When we first opened up the box…
it reminded me somewhat of this….
Here's to hoping none of you receive any cursed gold from us. Just kidding, we look forward to the orders and hope you guys are keeping warm in these arctic freezing temperatures. Except for the Aussies, we're really quite envious of you guys right now.

Speak for yourself… Finally some decent bloody temperatures...
-
Haha I don't think I'm ever going to get used to going to the gym before work in the morning through negative degree temperatures… But maybe..
-
So it might not be the super minus degree temperatures that @Seul is so fond of… but we do have some sort of Winter Wonderland coming to Gosport..
I know that I've recently been posting a lot of GIFs of the crew whacking and hammering things that need fixing… and today shall be no different!
We recently received a beautifully aged IHSH-76 back here at IHUK which had one of its' button broken off and needing replacing.
Usually for shirts that can be pimped, this wouldn't be a problem. These buttons, however, need to be specially pressed in with the elongated metallic part at the back of the button 'splayed' out far enough so that it secures the front part of the button right in to its' back counterpart.
Insert the 2 parts of the button into the fabric as so
Place (as @Giles calls it) the stampy thing tool into the back of the button
Watch Whack-It @Matt whack it, then check to see if you got it splayed well enough to stay!
Boom voila, we've done fixed your button cousin!
Haha look how they decorated the HMS Warrior near the Portsmouth Dockyard..
And as an early Christmas treat to ya'll and honoring Flashback Friday.. here's a photo that my dad sent to me this morning of me at 4 years old passed out in the living room couch with my favorite toy evarrrr. My parents found me like this and tried to replicate Buzz's arms with mine.. I guess it worked.
That's it for this week so have a great weekend guys and thanks for reading and learning with me!

@Seul Aww, I love your posts about loving my posts! And your comments in general.. But ha. ha. I've really been trying to gain some weight lately.. the whole crew now knows that 2 cream cheese and guacamole bagels are synonymous with my morning presence.
@sisterray It definitely is something to look forward to every morning! I still think it's insane how 2016 literally flew by..
First thing's first… It's ya boii rocking the IHJ-49
It's such a lovely piece and I lava it, but G made it quite clear that if I went for it I would literally be owned by Iron Heart…
It's a tad late, but my god that is an expensive pile of clothes....
@Sam brought in a doggy one day and it was so cute… Tried to walk itself haha. Or did.
The guys setting up for the Xmas Winter Shoot at Paula and G's humble abode…
I haven't really been documenting much lately, but here's a photo of a gnarly spider found around the office from back in May. He wrapped up a pesky wasp (you can see it sadly in the background) that had flown in so that was pretty cool..

This may possible belong in the Random Rant's thread but…
Me and @Winchy whenever we receive a package here at IHUK with no name and no message found either in our emails or in the packaging….

Behind the scenes of last week's IHUK Dinner at Hardy's…
Hey @Giles look look look Hey @Giles look look
Oh gee wiz Matt caught me smoldering… hahaSorry for some blurry photos.. I was shooting them while buzzed af haha. It was really cool to be able to celebrate properly with Crackers here in England! We all had cool prince and princess crowns and read super funny (not) jokes to each other. All in all, twas' a very good night.
Happy holidays from IHUK to yous!
