It's the upcoming BMW HP4 Race, which is the Teutonic take on the Superleggera. Details are scarce, other than it's a limited edition due late next year, but expect it to be very, very quick, and even more expensive.

damn. @Graeme you're definitely right. the carbon fibre bits are gorgeous. probably track only given the slicks. i recently saw the price for the H2R and couldn't believe how much it costs!!
on a side note, has anyone ordered from FCMOTO.de before? thinking about ordering my helmet from them as it's probably going to be way cheaper than local and probably going to get it earlier as well..

I've not bought anything from FC-Moto. I think that they're generally good, though people have had problems with them in the past. I've been to their shop in Germany, so they've got a bricks and mortar operation.

I don't know if motorcycle helmets attract VAT, which is the European equivalent of GST, but the rate is slightly higher in the Netherlands (21%) and Italy (22%) than it is in Germany (19%). This might save you a few dollars, if shipping is the same, as it should be deducted when you check out.
Note that some dealers will display the VAT free price before you get too hopeful.
I had a chat to Biker Outfit about buying some Rev'it gear. They're very helpful, and shipping was (I think) a bit cheaper than FC-Moto.
Also check prices at the UK dealers. With the recent collapse in the value of the pound, it might be cheaper to shop there than in Germany.
If you get partway through the checkout process at Firecrest, and tUhen don't pay, they'll email you a 10% off voucher. Shipping is a bit more expensive than some of the European outlets, so you need to figure out if the overall cost is better.
Urban Rider have a number of retro lids, so a good place to look if you want something different. (I like the Nexx XG100, but it doesn't fit me.)

Husqvarna are being rebooted as a sister brand to KTM. The first bikes to have been announced are the Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401, which are based on the Duke 390.
However, what caught my eye was the Aero Concept.
Personally I'm hoping that the offer the Aero kit on the upcoming Vitpilen 1301, which will be based on the utterly deranged KTM Super Duke 1290R…

@Graeme mate, that is extremely helpful! thanks a bunch! i'll check it out. i'm looking to go iron man hjc is-17 model with a iridium visor. the options i have now would be:
- pay deposit locally, and they'll loan me a helmet till the ironman arrives (roughly late nov/early dec)
2)get in from EC countries and hope the shipping is quick. (which according to some reviews on fcmoto, they're rather slow)
too many options now that WA has opened up to ECE standards for helmets.. which is another problem (more like first world)

@louisbosco, J&S Accessories have the Iron Man helmet in stock for £200, which is about €220 at the current exchange rate, but shipping is £65.
Sportsbike Shop also have it in stock, and shipping is £41.
Biker Outfit list the helmet for slightly less than FC-Moto.
Revzilla also have it, and I think that their Aussie shipping rates are reasonable. I don't know if HJC have separate DOT and ECE shells, though.
If you were in Melbourne, I could pick one up for you as I'm in the UK until the end of the month.
I'd drop Biker Outfit an email, and see if they have stock. They'll knock the VAT off, which means it comes out as €235, about £215, including shipping. Sportsbikeshop are the next cheapest at £240 shipped.

@louisbosco if @Giles will ship it to you, then that will be the cheapest option. Order one from J&S or Sportsbike Shop with free UK shipping, and get it sent to Gosport.
Alternatively, I could pick one up in Southampton, and drop it off in Gosport when I visit. (I'm planning on dropping by on Friday or Monday.)

One other thing: The IS-17 comes with a clear visor in the UK.
You'll need to order the orange visor separately. The Visor Shop sells them, but they don't have the Iron Man lid in stock at this time.

@Graeme bikeroutfit has the L in stock. (from the website) i've been emailing them about the sizes and shipping times. i've not come across any from the uk from first list you gave me that sells it. from what i've seen it's just j&S or sportsbike

went for the iridium gold and dark smoke visors. gold is a little cooler than the yellow. i think all of them comes standard with clear anyway..
total i'm expected to pay from bikeroutfit is about 275euro, which works out to be about 400ish aud in total. -
Sounds like a good haul @louisbosco, and it looks like it'll work out about the same as getting bits shipped via @Giles.
All British and European helmets ship with a clear visor, where one is fitted. Occasionally a second is shipped in the box, my Bell Bullitt came with a blacked out one, which will be useful in the Australian summer.
The stock visor on the HJC might be a transitions model, which darkens in sunlight.
In the UK you can only legally wear a clear or a lightly smoked visor on the road. The latter can have a tint up to 50%, and are only allowed during daylight hours. Iridium ones are strictly track-use only over there (well, here).
The gold one should look good.

from what i've researched on currently (as it's about 1am here), the cheapest option will be through bikeroutfit as i'll be able to get the helmets and two visors at the same time for roughly $AU430ish. (i miscalculated)
unless either JS or sportsbike has the two visors for less than £50. which i highly doubt is possible on price and availability. anyway, thanks for the photo. i have not seen an actual photo of a display set yet, only product pictures and video reviews. i doubt that it's transition as i know the is-17 comes with an internal sunshade.
probably confirm everything and bite the bullet tomorrow… can't wait to be Tony Stark.

The Visor Shop is selling the IS-17 visors for £40 to £45 each. Assuming shipping is free, that comes to $465 at the current exchange rate for the lid and two visors. Biker Outfit is cheaper.
I mistook the "Integrated Sunlight Film" to mean that it was a transitions shield. As you said, it's an internal sun visor, and I can now see "one touch" on the sticker. D'oh! ::)
The IS-17 also scored a full five stars on the UK SHARP test. That means it theoretically protects better than some very serious Arais and Shoeis.
Plus it looks like Tony Stark.

yeah i think the visors were the deal breaker. biker had them for about €30 each.
the is-17 i've heard from reviews are one of the few wind tunnel tested models, which from what i've researched on, are quite good. i think HJC recently acquired their wind tunnel and it's one of the first few models to undergo that as well.
shoei in matte black or gray anthracite is definitely next on my list down the road, i've been eyeing their gt-air for a very long time now, but didn't want it to be my first purchase. definitely out of the budget for now..

mm they look good. i guess helmets are a thing where you have to ride and experience before telling how it is. especially for me, who's just starting, it'll take some time figuring which ones i like best.
PS. my helmet should be here in a week or so. waiting on the stock for the iridium visor.

I went along to the Motorcycle Live show at the NEC yesterday, and here are the bikes that I liked the best.
The Triumph Bobber was my favourite new model. No, I probably wouldn't get one, but I thought that it was a neat piece of design, which fits into the booming retro / custom scene. If you're thinking about a Harley Sportster, get one of these instead.
This is a lightly customised version, with clip-on handlebars and a nitrous system.
The Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled is the bike that makes @Giles think he should get his license. I really liked it, and it's a more convincing option than the Café Racer they just launched.
I think that the Ducati Superleggera 1299 has already sold out. It's a fantastic looking machine, and probably the king of the sports bikes until BMW release the upcoming HP4 Race.
The third Ducati I liked was the SuperSport. This is the white S model. However, I wished that they'd based it around the new Monster 1200 platform, as that would have given it things like cornering ABS and a quickshifter.
Yamaha released the MT-10 earlier this year, but have just announced an upgraded version, the SP. This adds bits off the R1 and R1M to replace the bargain basement components on the standard bike. In doing so, it gains electronic Ohlins suspension, and a full IMU.
If you want a bike capable of touring and scaring you silly on a track, this is probably it.
These are the new Norton V4 bikes. They're very expensive, and pretty much sold out. I'd probably go for a Superleggera instead.
Husqvarna is rebooting itself under KTM's ownership, and the first new model will be the Vitpilen 401. This is based on the KTM Duke 390. Apparently a bigger brother based on the Super Duke 1290 has been spotted…
The Aero Concept wasn't on display, but it looks absolutely gorgeous.
This is a Knox Micro-Lock back protector, which is so soft and pliable that it can be folded up. It also meets level 2 of the CE armour standard, so it's about as protective as you can get. I want this in my new set of leathers.

Triumph are pushing heavily into getting owners to customise their bikes, in much the same way that Harley have been for years. There were a lot of interesting machines on their stand, some of which you've probably seen before.
The Barbour x Triumph Thruxton was my favourite. OK, I'm biased being an owner of the standard bike, but it'd been subject to a few, simple modifications, and it was an effective facelift.
This Thruxton had gained a Daytona 675 fairing and a supercharger. It won the sprint competition at Glemseck 101.
This Bonneville featured on Bike EXIF the other day. It's worth reading the article, because they went into a lot of effort getting things like removing the dashboard right.
Triumph didn't just have customised versions of their retro range, there was also a Speed Triple on display.
The BMW R5 Hommage is more of a concept bike than custom. It uses a vintage 500 cc Boxer, with an added supercharger.
Yamaha have been supporting the custom bike scene in recent years with their Yard Built programme, which Iron Heart got involved with. I'm not sure if this military themed bike was a part of it.

This Sportster was on the Harley stand. I like how the headlight is mounted behind the screen.
Krazy Horse in Bury St Edmunds are worth a visit. This is one of the choppers they had on display.
They also import Zero into the UK.
Back Street Heroes is a magazine that caters to fans of heavily customised bikes. These three were on their stand, and I'm not sure if they would be particularly rideable.
