So I met casey at SELA today. Really knowledgable about his denim. Really impressed by the quality of mr. Freedom stuff. Unimpressed by 3sixteen

Yep - my mate bought a pair of 3sixteen after I had told them about SE (he was travelling the US)… Got to see and touch them this summer... Very discrete, which is excellent, but also nothing to get excited about, alas... Quality should be good, I guess...

nice to meet you today CAFE.. i agree about MF quality is is really spectacular (i own several MF pieces)

im going to have to disagree about 3sixteen though. in my opinion they are without a doubt the best jean you can get for under $200.. super straight forward, no frills, plain pockets, great fits, 14oz Kaihara  Indigo Selvedge (ive seen some AMAZING fades come from these jeans), leather patch made by Tanner goods, and they are very well put together right here in USA. quality wise they kill any other jean in there price range (APC, NUDIE,RRL)

and don't get me started on 3sixteen+ thats a whole different beautiful animal..

hahha i guess i forgot about the price difference b/w 3sixteen and IH/MF etc…
that's totally true. they do blow apc and nudie out of the water...

and that was me awkwardly calling about the db scarf... if i had a motorcycle i would totally would get it -- love the look if it were paired with a leather jacket and some nice jeanss

No I too am not a hippy man but we have a lot of friends in Europe and teh CC attracts a lot of USA friends AND Gent is just over the border and has 300 breweries!!
