IH-816 - 17oz Duck Work Pants
-
Almost 3 years old now, worn once or twice a week
The 816s are my favourite non denim bottoms of all times - a (relatively) hidden jewel of the IH line-up IMO
-
Just got mine a couple days ago … Glad to scoff up a pair before the khaki goes bye bye ...

Congrats @Irkku Paska
My feelings and experience exactly re the beige [emoji1303] -
@zatenm how often do you wash them?
-
@Haddtoo 555 quite infrequently, maybe 3 times a year
-
Thanks
Thinking of using these for work…..which means I would have to wash them a lot....not sure how they will hold onto their color.
-
I wear my navy pair 2 or 3 days each week for work, and they're washed regularly - colour is good, with slight fading at the higher wear areas, i.e. pockets, belt loops. I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow.
Just to add, I'll be buying another pair of the navy, and probably a beige pair when they appear in May

Thanks for the pics…...those are holding up well

Those look great TMG!!

@Giles any chance of this being made in black duck or any other color? They are by far my most worn non-denim.
-
Don't know how you do it old chap….but thanks

How does the fit compare to the IH-666D a.k.a. Best Jeans Ever Made?
-
I haven't worn the 666D, but have the 666XHS and 666L and the 816. For me, although I like both, the 816 is way more comfortable. As Giles suggests, check the size charts. I have both a 33 brown and a 32 navy. The waist will stretch a bit, but I prefer the 33. The cut has room in the top block and thigh, but with a moderate taper below the knee. I think it is a really great cut.
