Luggage Bags and Packs

Nice. What color?
Well I have tan and black packs so I went for navy. However, I will probably be letting go of my tan Teranishi teardrop as they will probably be too similar. I am hoping that my wife catches the ups man because I'm very excited about this pack.

Bam! After several minutes fighting a very well taped box, here it is:
Showing how the strap is secured
Printed interior fabric
The superb and beautiful cobra buckle
My first impression is that it is a little smaller than I had expected but it is a great size for EDC. The quality definitely lives up to the hype and in fact it is damn near flawless in construction. I have yet to load it up but I have my concerns over the thin straps but time will tell how comfortable it is to wear. So far I'm very happy with it. Thanks to veloaudio for all the great advice!

Ended up picking up a GR2 34L over xmas as a travel back. The Briggs and Riley backpack's TSA approved section ended up giving me the shits as the TSA never accepted it as approved… should get a chance to give it a work out over Jan...
So far it's been the perfect bag to travel with @ airports, and use as a day bag for the office. It's also been enjoyable to use as a laundry bag as it can hold so much. Contented hopefully finally for a long time!
And another lap around the planet and still sticking by this. Bag search for travel is done and dusted!

Looks great. I like the contrast of the brown leather attaching the top of the straps and the piping inside. I was also worried about the straps (and the dual d-ring attachment) but I have had no issues with either.

Good to hear it! I know the search was long.

Why aren't you coming in May, @Tempvs?
-
I'd love to come in May but I won't be well enough to travel that far by then. I'm hoping in the next few weeks to start making a few small trips, then if that's Ok to start flying again.
Hoping to be fully mobile again by September then Japan here I come.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Sorry to hear that, @Tempvs. Yourself and @Madame Buttonfly will be missed.
Get better! Hopefully see you in November.

Waiting for this, just shipped:

So after over thinking it too much I decided I didn't want a backpack on the subway everyday. Found a good deal on a chrome mini metro in olive so I've gone for that, expecting it to arrive next week.

I am huge fan of Bedouin (my Delireis is going on a trip with me today) and while the new duffle looks cool I would need to see it in person first. The backpack straps don't look much different than my Delireis (width and padding). I'd also be concerned about the weight of the bag too. All that said, Silas knows what he doing so I'm sure it is nice.

Its also 40 litres. Which is exactly why I am tempted by it.

Yes, a perfect travel size.
