While the navy Looks good and it is nice to have more Variation - I still think the stain has not spoiled the olive jacket, I'd rather think it compliments it. But to each his own 😉

I think now that the Olive is your "outdoor jacket" maybe giving it a wax with some otter wax would make it look the part?  I really like how Christophe's looks (although his is his own version) https://www.instagram.com/p/BACtIJ5FVVD/?taken-by=christopheloiron

If anything, the wax adds additional dimensions to the jacket and would make the chlorine marking stand out less and appear to be more naturally a part of the evo.

                That sounds a brilliant idea

I didn't. She even encouraged me to buy the navy blue one.

The fact that I had a good chance to get the money for the replacement jacket refunded from the shop which was responsible for the discoloration of my IHM-09 may have helped a bit.  😉 But I must mention, that my wife offered to pay half the price if I don't get a refund, which was very nice from her and, fortunately, not necessary.

I actually just ordered the last XL in Navy…I can't wait to get this bad boy in. Wish I would have gotten it 2 months ago and used it more of this winter.

So how windproof is this beauty? I have till Monday until I receive mine, so I don't mind keeping me occupied with details of the jacket 🙂 well…and working ha.

And with a warmth "level"....I have a Schott Peacoat with the 32oz melton wool(which I might put up for sale depending on how "dressy" I can go with this), does anyone else have a heavy wool jacket that they could compare this to? The Schott does a great job in the warmth and wind stoppage, but not an everyday jacket for me.

The fabric is completely windproof, but since the jacket is pretty short the wind tends to get in. Zipper isn't windproof either (IHM-04).

Yep … the only disadvantage (to my mind) on these jackets is the relative short lenght - ca. 5 inch longer would be nice.
Apart from that - perfect for any wind & winter weather ... An add. drawstring can be helpful, to hold the warmth inside.

                                    No way!  🙂 … I hate that funnel-like cut of the IHM-11

It is all relative on the size you get and if you have a long, average or short torso area…

I quickly gauged the length difference between my 126 and the N1, only .75" difference or so, so it should be a good length for me.

Yeah, my N-1 is plenty long on me - good length and if I wanted a more heritage look if go down 1 size.

Got my N1 in today. Beautiful jacket! Everything fits perfect, except the back which does pull a bit when extended reach. I actually figured the arms would seem longer with a 28" length, they seem like a 27".

I will have to try it on again tomorrow to see if I want to keep it for life. I LOVE the Alpaca lining(too bad the arms aren't lined the same….that would make it absolutely perfect then). Also in love with the functionality of the collar.
