One of my customers had a problem with the hollow rivet on his mini calf wallet coming loose.  I took the wallet with me, and as chance would have it, the guy who made it came into The Works.  So I gave it to him in person.  Expect it back soon…............

Whilst at The Works, I spotted this pair of IH-634 waiting for more repairs.  One of the first pair of jeans Haraki ever sold, they come in about once a year for a rebuild:

Giles that/this is an absolutely fantastic post, thanks so much for putting it up.  I lived in Japan for two years.  I also practice Judo at the Budokwai near my place in London.  Your pictures really touched me, and show the quality and finish the Japanese have come to master.  It's quite funny and they will tell you themseleve that the Japanese have invented nothing but perfected everything.  Well they lie on that one they have infact invented the Kareoke machine!  Great Post Thanks!

simonc.  These are a Self Edge exclusive, so I won't be carrying them I am afraid.  Kiya has not talked to me about a matching jacket yet, so def a no for this season.  We have a blanket lined Type III coming out in early spring.  G

If we're talking about grail state jeans, this comes pretty close to my imagination of the perfect jeans.. At least concerning nowadays denim, left vintage mining pants (and barista stained)aside.
