tbh you tall as heck so I'm not sure how you would feel about the fit :-\
I like it cause it has the old school goose look to it & has that sheen from the water repellant fabric. . . folks were all it's made in China & pissed off, but that never bothered me

What would be even better would be an updated Iron Heart take on this classic style. The overall quality of jackets has grown by leaps and bounds since the 04 came out.

The reason Haraki decided to get the jacket made in China, was that it is/was ridiculously expensive (and remember that is us talking) to get a similar quality down jacket made in Japan….
I would be totally OK with a PrimaLoft jacket but done in a classic down coat style.

This jacket in blue was my very first iron heart purchase. Shout out to Kiya for having one in my size and on sale all those years ago!

Nice! I always wanted the Vest version… Always thought it was the perfect down best to be worn over a tshirt or thermal and not look like the Michelen Man.

What about an updated version? It's a pretty traditional puffy coat style. More current take would be awesome.

The down jacket was extremely well made and has only ever been good to me. I also kinda wish I would have gotten one of the vests with the modified G-Pimp Leather on them.

this is still going strong while I make sure the snow blower is working for the stella, the little storm we had up here
