Happy Thanksgiving to all the American IH Heads! Sorry I have been absent the past week. I am currently in SF with my family. Internet access at my mom's house is prehistoric. Posting pictures is a no go and everything else is shotty.
A few quick things. Beats, great idea and I am happy for you. Saw it on The Boss' Blog and smiled. G, that blanket lined jacket is ALL MINE!!! Love you all and I hope to return to full access tomorrow. Cheers!!!

Check out Manitoba in Canada, -17C with a wind chill it feels like -26C.  It gets down to -40C at times.  Thank goodness I don't live there!

It's -14C at the moment. In northern Finland, it's been -30C and colder this week. And it's not even heart of winter yet. And the wind on top of those of course.

Gluckliche Erntedankfest (sp?), Beats (a bit late, perhaps?).  My Mother's side of the family as well as my Dad's Mother are all German.  The Scots side are mostly Orkney (some Shetland)–which means mostly Norwegian (read Viking--that's where the real size comes from).  That luscious turkey reminds me of life before marrying a "Fishetarian".
