I guess I'm wondering thoughts on a waist that will be a touch loose vs. spot on/snug, as all other measurements seem to be okay for me?

Just wanted to drop my 2 cents on the situation. The 555-02's were my first ever IH's too and i love them.
I've just had a quick read of your messages and i think you'd be better off with the tag 33's. You said you wanted a bit extra space in the waist and they'll still fit you nicely in the thighs.

Go for it buddy. You won't be disappointed.

I think April 2013, but I'm not 100% sure.  They are a nice cut & nice denim. I'm glad to see this cut sticking around a bit.
