just so everyone knows that likes the Self Edge version…. IT IS EFFING AMAZING!!!!!!!!! i tried it on yesterday and it was like your favorite fruit compote on toast + amazingness all rolled in to one!!!! do NOT pass up on this jacket if you are liking it, you will absolutely not be disappointed!

its not 100% black, its freaking checkered. Thats a fucking bummer. I was hoping something like the 01 would magically appear out of the ether, XL or XXL, and bam into a USPS box and zam onto my desk a coupla days later and zoing on my shoulders a minute after.
I feel the same brother…NEED a Melton in shirt or jacket form....where oh where can i get one from?!!
If you manage to get your hands on 2 could you drive or post one down to Grenoble...or is that a big ask

Ok, this is somewhat unrelated to this thread. But if you are looking for the Melton Wool shirt (IHW-01), you can either 1)use a proxy service and buy it from here: http://item.rakuten.co.jp/rebirth/10000230/ (you will have to pay many different fees for using this service) or 2) contact Self Edge SE/LA/NY (or Kiya) as they will be getting their lot in the very near future.

I would get this in the same size as the shirts. It's a jacket - so it runs accordingly bigger
Measurements on IH UK site for the IHW-01 and IHW-02 look pretty spot on. The IHW-02 is actually a tad shorter in the length and sleeves. I went with an XL. Should be here Monday…
I can confirm Beatle and Lando's observations. I am a size XL in IH shirts, and went with XL in the CPO. The fit is spot on (and the jacket looks cool too)
Any chance you could post a fit pic? I really want to pull the trigger on this CPO but I'm not sure about the length…

I remember on the Styleforum forums in the Paul Smith shoes section people would get those notices on items from the UK and then think they were in the clear when the shoes finally arrived and then receive some sort of bill or something later… i hope that isnt the case here. Not trying to freak you out or anything haha just sayin...

I would assume it's because there are far fewer of these made than the IHW-02.
Fewer units produced=higher price per unit…
P.S. It's definitely cool, but I'm not too into the placement of the SE tag. Looks tacked on as an afterthought. Coulda centered it over the other button or something. -
Makes sense. As for the tag… Holy shit, I never noticed that. Agree with you Katsushin, it looks........... well, like SHIT! Reminds me of some bad collabs I have seen from companies back in the day. Kind of a shame. No need for it. Could have done something on the inside tag.

Yeah, the flannel exterior is just not cutting it. The brilliant thing about a CPO is the Wool… No progress on my CPO as of yet. Assuming it will update tomorrow. As of right now, it is still in some UPS facility in NJ.
