These are most certainly the highest contrast, fastest developing combs on a pair of jeans I've ever owned. I have even washed them several times, and they always 'settle' back in after a bit.

Trousers made in the depths of space… Far, FAR away... Probably near a black hole!
This fabric is phenomenal! Definitely the darkest black jeans I've ever owned... Hopefully, that doesn't last!
The fit is spot on! Construction is exactly as expected from IH. Chose to have them hemmed, and was pleasantly surprised that my 2" of pants leg was tucked in to my back pocket, lol. Probably make a key fob with it.....
But, yeah!!! This is my fit! Payday, I'm buying another pair of 555's, that's for sure

The thighs are a little slim, but from what I hear around these parts is that I can get "some" stretch from this fabric.

You'll get some stretch from the 21oz, no doubt. Be careful when ordering other versions of this as I think the SBG has the most generous thigh measurements. The tagged 34 555-01 is 12,3 and the 555-03 is 12.8. 12mm can mean the difference between stylishly snug and too damn tight in thigh, in my experience …

Waist and thigh are the most important measurements, imo. This pair is my new benchmark for a slim fit pair of pants. They fit so well! The waist it's maybe an inch too big, but I already knew that, because I have muscular thighs and glutes.
I'm out drinking, wearing these pants and they're great!
Already thinking to get the 555N and the 555S-BLK

I just received my pair! I really lucked out, this pair were listed with the specials @Giles listed on the weekend for$150.00 ! They were hemmed perfectly to my length already and while it said they were worn, they seem more like they were tried on and returned because the feel new! They fit spot on and I could not be happier!

Thanks bro! The legs fit GREAT, but the waist is a little too loose.. Had to size to fit my thighs and butt.. I'm thinking of hot soaking the top block

Yeah the waist runs pretty big. I sized down on them and beat them into submission. Iron Heart stitching is pretty stout, because I can't believe I didn't blow the knees and the calfs out on these.
I don't know if the waist will shrink all that much. I think the sanforization process these go through takes all the shrink out. But, who knows?
