i'm waiting on a usps parcel too. what frustrates me is the time it takes to update tracking from both auspost and usps. like on usps it's stated as processed at sort facility in perth but on the auspost site, it shows that it's still in LA

@JCMx800 and @den213 I wish you both luck. One piece of advice (not sure how competitive the markets are where you are) don't say you'll think about it. If you like it put that app and deposit down as soon as you can or someone else will pull it right out from under you. Have learned this the hard way. Seattle apartment hunting is insanely competitive though.
Good luck to you from my side as well. Best advice right up there. Don't think about it, settle the deal and try to look decent haha. And ask around a lot, most good appartments come from friend's recommendations, at least in areas where the demand is bigger than the supply.

I never have issues with AustPost!
Our delivery driver arrives the same time everyday and will even deliver on Saturdays and the occasional Public Holiday!

Yeah I'm looking as well… My brother's girlfriend is moving in after the summer, and she's the sweetest thing on this planet, but three's company y'know... Visiting a single bedroom flat on Monday that's within my budget, well isolated, with a private, underground parking spot (to store beer), and a 5' walk to work.
Let's hope it's decent...

Icemaker died but at least I was able to fix it.3 shitty things in less than 10 days. I hope I'm done for the year.

Found out what happened to my parcel. The address should have started:
So they couldn't deliver it, and have sent it back to Chicago.
Most frustrating system. Sorry mate. BTW there's no tracking back to Chicago, and it may take upto 3 months to get back there. Not sure why, but it's the lessons I've learnt about it. You can kiss goodbye anything to do with it.

wow. that really sucks. i've never experience a parcel being sent back before.

It's annoying, because the situation came about from a couple of mistakes on both sides. Still, I'll get it sent out (again) in a few weeks or months.
