I hate the recovery time and the damn effort with the appointments much more than the tattooing process.
No one can tell me that's true enjoyable (except masochists ^^) .. but this few hours are bearable .. and the visible results -

I just get my headphones on with some Metallica and zone out. 6 hours is my limit time wise.

7.5 hours in one session is the most that ive had done. It fucking sucked. Especially when he took the big shader to my elbow…..

Keen to get the otherside done but the thought of gettin it done gives me the chills!

Elbows suck big time

^Good to hear  (coming on tuesday).

So far, 9 hours was my Limit (chest), but 1 hour buttcheeks was worse than that.

Thats hardcore. You need to get the elbows done dude. Aesthetically (imho) i always think that it looks awesome and really completes a sleeve.

My mate is currently getting his chest done (for free, the bastard). He keeps putting off any further progress after the chap literally coloured in one of his nipples black and took the big liner to the other nipple. Apparently the whole thing is going to take about fifty hours as he is 6'7".

He said that the chest was by far the worse thing he has experienced…..

Hmm … I had a relaxed time with the elbows (maybe no sense in them ^^)
The chest was unpleasant - the belly also ...
but 4 x 6 hours on the rib area were absolutely disgusting    :o - I hate myself at the time

It was ok. Not the best spot but compared to the kidneys and below a piece of cake. But it was hard to get the colour in, I think it might need another filling after it's healed.

That's entirely normal on elbow - the skin is very thin.
I had the same experience with my elbows (and the knuckles).

The 'Hirschkäfer' looks perfect with the other stuff.

Thanks. Yeah, it was done by Valentin Hirsch again, so it matches all the other stuff. We were discussing a lot of ideas and it was hard to find some spots. I also got a small filler on the forearm.
