IHSH-107 - 2014 Ultra Heavy Flannel Western Shirt

Can anyone recommend anything similar to this in larger sizes? I'm a 47-48". The XXL IH stuff doesn't fit. I absolutley love the look, and would like any tips on who does something similar. Tanks in advance guys.

IH is already on the largest side of the japanese brands…could be difficult to just find a brand that does these sizes, regardless of the fabric.

@Bunyip you said XXL, did you mean XXXL?  I wear the IH size XXXL comfortably, which usually has an actual pit-to-pit chest measurement of 24-25" (*2 = 48-50").  And I agree you'd be hard-pressed to find any Japanese brands cut as big or bigger than IH.

It's not the same, but Patagonia, Woolrich, Filson all have bigger sized heavy flannels.  I gave all mine away after I got a taste of IH.

I know the Large 107 from Japan is like…44.5" or 45" chest. I am waiting for mine, next week

I'm excited about this year's flannels since I managed to miss the gorgeous green 107.

Even more motivation to lose an extra 10-15 in the gut…I was worried at first, but the shirt is stretching out a little and fits nicely.

Might I say, this fabric is ridiculous! So beautiful, comfy and warm! I hope I can manage to rock this in the summer sometimes...I can't imagine the 64 being heaver/thicker than this flannel.

The fabric alone puts almost everything I have in flannel to shame. Not saying they are bad, I still love what I have, but they seem like 1/4 the weight and not quite as much details.

Jordonf9, once you have this, any other flannels would be pale in comparison.
Where are you located?  Not sure if it will be too hot in the summer.

I do wish the shirt was another inch or two longer. Little short compared to my 92

I think most folks I've seen wear them out (not tucked) and having them just a bit shorter looks better imo if you are wearing them out.  Of course it depends on the person, torso length, preference… I'd need another inch or two as well if I wanted these to stay tucked.  for what it's worth @Jordonf9 I think the length looks good on you based on your pics.

I don't tuck. I just have a slightly longer torso so that inch or two would be nice for my hips. The sides are about 1/2" below the top of my belt, hate showing off skin or underwear.
