@Zentner. Hey, how'd you develop such narrow and dense combs? Do those fit you really snugly? My 634-* jeans have much wider diamond-ish combs. They fit looser on me.

I do size down in most IH pieces for a snugger fit.

I'm actually not sure if I'll ever wash them… Might be going the Reudi route with them and just leaving them dry and letting them do their thing. I've gotten in the habit of rarely washing my denim and I'll probably just continue with that and see where these jeans end up. I love high contrast, but I'm not typically a fan of the super washed out look on the thighs that lots of denim seems to get with many washes.

Thanks @davito next on my list is the 634S-WH, and your photos in the thread were definitely an inspiration. How do the 634S-B fit compared to the 634S-WH?

@Zentner oh thanks Sir thats kind, glad this helped you towards the white ones. Hmm tbh i almost never measure something unless i maybe sell something or so. But in most cases i just put on the pants and go from there as long i am comfortable in the waist and thighs 🙂 I believe they fit more or less the same with maybe some differences here and there. Best is you go by the measurement tables and compare from there. Hope this helps a bit. My size is a 30.

                          Cheers,
                          David

Looking at your pics i think the white ones gonna fit more or less the same i would say @Zentner did you downsize the SB?

Edit sorry just saw you downsize. Take the measurements from your SB and compare them I would say, you should get approx the same fit imo. 🙂

The thigh knee are is a bit wider in the SB compared to the same size in the WH. If you downsize the WH to the same size as your SB you might even get a slimmer fitting jean than your SB @Zentner

                            Cheers,
                            David

Were these (the current batch, specifically) made oversized compared to their 634S brethren?

Because it seems that the same size number on the 634S-B run a bit larger.

Well, I know you measure individual jeans so… actually... the sizing between standard 634S and overdyed 634S seem to be different in very arbitrary locations, and is not a categorical difference of one being larger or smaller.

So I'm going to assume it's just standard deviation in the range of 634S jeans that were overdyed.

I think I just answered my own question, inductively...

                                    Some words about the jeans,
Color: The black is so deep and rich, you can´t put it on pictures, you have to hold it in your hands. The dirty Hardware looks so great, the yellow stitching shines golden. Wore it two days and it looks already pretty lovely. The fresh leather tag fits perfect to the overall look.

Denim: Softer than your usual 21oz Denim, which I like, feels fabulous, but your fingernails gonna be dirty as fuck, don´t wear it to a date or something similar. The denim stretch pretty fast, first it was hard to button the top button, but after only 2 squats it stretched a lot.

Fit: Fits more or less the same like the undyed 634S, I noticed a liitle more room at the knees, sizing-table says the same. I kept them unhemmed (hallo @501/IH ) so I have a double cuff.

I put em in the my closet tp prevent more wears.

                                    Fit:

Good for you, JCMx800. The unhemmed state, cool (and just a little gratifying for me that on very few occasions, I get listened to…)
What I like most about your post, though, is the prose with which you describe the joy of the first days in the new jeans. Beautifully put, and I just never tire of hearing true denim appreciation. I'm pretty sure they won't last long in that closet...

                                      Enjoy them!

Keep your jeans on–-and let nothing come in between you and the denim !

No.  We lose more than enough fabric in the mill and more than enough screwed up jeans making anything out of 25oz, without then subjecting them to another unreliable process…..
