    @danielholmes I'd definitely go for the 30. Don't size up…
The BB is more generous cut than the 666, and the denim will stretch quite a bit.

I sized down to get a perfect fit. But I asked the 'stubborn crew' to find me a pair with a waist size that was slightly larger than spec.

Giving up your old favorites for a pair of something new isn't always a bad thing. Because you'll get to enjoy your old favorites again while you wait for your new favorites to get clean. Before I had my new favories I would go through '25 oz. withdrawal' for at least a day, while they would dry.

Just had the my first crotch repair performed by SESF…nice to have them back on my legs.

Love this fade… The white blems are burns from welding...one of the reasons I love the 25 oz for work

        madmonday's retired….I'm just tired.

Love the arcs. Love the fit and fade pics. My waist measures 35 in multiple pairs of jeans I currently wear. Only size 34 is left available in the shop. Is it worth the chance?

Size 34 would have a 33" waist, right? Which would need to stretch two inches to fit? I'm not saying it would be a pleasant experience, but @giles, this is possible, right? I seem to remember you saying that you had gotten that amount of stretch out of the 25oz denim. Or has someone laced my beer with crack again?

Do you have a 31" waist, do you wear a tagsize 31" or do you existing jeans measure 31"?

                      If the latter, then yes.

                        Hi Giles,

                        My true waist is 31"

Wilson,  Thank you.  What your true waist size means nothing…....The waist of a pair of jeans very rarely sits on the waist, they sit further down towards the hips.  If your existing jeans measure 31" the way we measure, then go 32".

A funny story about these jeans. I wore them on New Years Eve. A friend came over who is always grabbing my butt (arse), and did so this evening or tried, but started screaming because she broke 2 fingernails in the process. I showed her the label, to try to explain the heavy weight of the jeans, so she took the photo. I think I cured her of doing this, and she is still complaining about her broken nails.

It has taken awhile to embrace this cut in this weight….pull them on and stay up all day....perfect top block for me,
Love the rise. Was to lazy to soak / hand wash last week...two weeks of grime....

                                    Clean jeans to follow

                                    madmonday's retired….I'm just tired.

^^Sam/IH: I reckon for some that would be a sound reason NOT to wear these great jeans…
^ Haddtoo: cool to see these jeans this way. I often think the right degree of "grime" suits them fine, possibly better than total cleanliness!

Keep your jeans on–-and let nothing come in between you and the denim !

@501/IH : these work pants never get really clean with a hand wash, these have not been in a machine….my goal is clean enough to wear...I ground though the knee on my 666 xhs in no time from not keeping them clean....no sign of that kind of damage on this pair...still needed a crotch repair at 8 months even with weekly wetting....these have about 11 months of work wear on them.

                                        madmonday's retired….I'm just tired.
