So, half lined back pockets - whats the benefit? Looking at the 634SR spec i see they have said half lined back pockets, why not fully lined, it must cost more to do half lined due to the extra work involved in stitching the top of the lining halfway up the back pocket? Why have lining at all, its not got a vintage heritage as far as I'm aware?

Half lined back pockets reinforce the part of your back pocket where the wallet usually breaks the denim / fraction and as a result you will have a hole…it is work intensive but a nice way to reinforce and safe some lining material (you can get 2 pairs of jeans done with basically the same amount of material

              Hinoya.
The one I've been to is in the Ueno area of Tokyo (right next to the train station, very easy to get to).  It is the corner spot on a street that houses nothing but denim/workwear retailers.

I've been wondering. Where exactly does the numbering system for Iron Heart's come form? For example, what does 634 translate to and where did it come from. Also the lettering(s) after it, 634S and 634sr?

I would say nay, but they do look comfortable.

I am not sure about the numbering, never asked Haraki.  But S is selvedge and SR is Raw Selvedge.

Seriously, I loath facebook. It is a huge bore, but for some reason it is still around. I don't predict it to be as dominant as it has been until now but what the hell do I know…
